It was very early in the morning but it was bright in Harlem Sunday as the person in charge of Zonkosi Mamdani told the First Baptist Church to get the result of the last minutes in the black community.
Just down the road, about 50 people gathered to learn how to represent, and get a talk from PEP, Mamdani, and a line of TV cameras and some TV recruiters. One man chanted “Cuomo, Cuomo,” much to the amusement of the crowd.
Suddenly, there he was, walking up the side of his road. The school bus driver shouted, “Zohran” and the quick election burned on the bus, they took the initiative to hug and take a selfie.

It was the first time I saw Mamdani in person, and the bad news for those of us in Socialism is that the 34-year-old has some serious political limbs, by working hard and pressing the flesh with his nervous smile.
The Mamdani dances were the final act of the campaign, pushing the message of access to science ahead of the NYC Vote
Mathet in his 30s Emdala, who is 30 years old, told me: “He is very quiet,” Matt, who recently told me as we watched him take a few questions from what seemed to be reporters before him. I tried to ask him about him but I was ignored on fox my digital news vest. But that was okay. I was very interested in asking Math and his friends questions.
They just stumbled into the event, and when I asked Math to expand on his idea, he told me, “You look and sound like a politician.” I asked if that was a good thing or a bad thing and she just smiled and got frustrated, but then she said, “she also looks really young.”
Mathe’s friend Cam said to me, “You have a big problem with young people,” I couldn’t really gather if the guards put him in that category. He continued, “And that’s good. It’s time for new people’s ideas to be born now.”
Mamdani asks non-democrats to have a general election push, government pledges that can meet the needs of voters
When chatting with a few of the soon-to-be canvassers, there was an almost joyous quality about them. One told me just another: “We’re all very happy for him. Another added: “I’ve never felt this way about a cake before.”
The canvassers, especially on the left, look like the citizens of Harlem, but that, after all, is now also part of the black neighborhood of 21 years.
Andrew Cuomo doesn’t just need to win the black vote on Tuesday to have any chance, he needs to turn out in big numbers. Chad, who I met on the corner outside the Bodega was trying his best to help.
Cuomo gains Mamdani’s advantage in the latest Poll before the NYC Mayoral election
I saw him as I caught the tail end of the old enthusiastic shouting match. I saw that he was taking out flyers, and he thought it was Mamdani. In fact, he was out when he was pressuring the CUOMO campaigns.

He told me that he had been in New York all his life, and was not ready for the kind of change Mamdani was suggesting. “Free stuff,” Chad said scornfully. “It takes money to keep the lights on… I’m sick of hearing about people getting free, free, free, what about the kids?” What about the education system? “
I asked him about arguing with a woman, and he said: “I get that all the time. Some people just hate him, and feel free to abuse me.”
Cuomo closes gap on Mamdani as NYC Mayor tightens in new poll
I told him to keep a tight upper lip, that what he was doing was important and how democracy works. He said, “Thank you, I needed to hear that.”
I was glad to be comforted, but I also understood immediately that it was a sign of his CUOMO Account. If older black women in Harlem gave him the business of supporting the former governor, then Cuomo’s backstop may not be as daunting as it seems.

At the end of the day, for better or worse, political campaigns run on passion. With a good clear sense like Chad made in his defense of Cuomo, the gap of enthusiasm that I have seen in the last few days on the ground is big Canyon.
Maybe there’s a lot that, or in this case, you’re ready to empty and empty the voting booths and fill the small circle of cuomo. But if that’s the case, at least they’re doing a pretty good job of hiding.
