Writing: Badr Abselatty “deal with the Nation and Margaret Brennan,” Oct. 12, 2025

Next, the Interview and Badr Abkalaty text, Egyptian Foreign Minister “facing the nation and Margaret Brennan” in Oct. 12, 2025.
Margaret Brennan: We now turn to the Minister of Egypt, Dr. Badr Abkalatty, and joined this morning in Cairo. Welcome to face the nation.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelty is good to have, Margaret. Thank you very much for holding me.
Margaret Brennan: So President Trump heads to Egypt. I know that he will be meeting with President Al-Sisi tomorrow in Sharm El Sheik to discuss the Agreement by Gaza. But all appear to be subject to this law and the end of the first paragraph, from what you know and hear from Kuamas, are those kidnappers released from the next 24 hours?
Badr Afleety: We are sure that the first Trump Peace phase will be used, will be honored by all parts of concerns, and we move forward. We are very confident that the first paragraph will be completed, in all the reliability of these groups, and fully communicate with the Palestines, and it will take time to cast out the remains of people gaza without hindering, to deal with the current famine and hunger in Gaza.
Margaret Brennan: Thus, President of what deputy, newly heard, said President Trump confirmed many countries to provide international troops to enter Gaza. Will Egypt send international forces in Gaza?
Badr Afleety: Yes, a portion of the agreement, actually, the issue of security safety, and we work at different levels. First, there are some Palestinians in Gaza. They will be trained and sent to Gaza. Social now, as we speak, provides training and communication with Jordan training up to 5000 Palestine that they are sent to Gaza. International power supply is on the table. We support this view, and, and there are other countries, expressing their hollowing forces to offer soldiers to the ground. We should also work now in terms of the Security Council, yes, approving a proposal, and explaining the principal authority of the forces in the ground.
Margaret Brennan: But Indonesia leader has surrendered 20,000 soldiers. Will Egypt make forces? Do you have a number?
Badr AbDelaty: We say, we will support and make soldiers within some parameters. As I mentioned, we must have a security council authority to allow you, and, definitely, explain the mission of the ground, which will have a Palestine police training for work. And, then, to explain the whole mission, and how long, because it will be the first, to help in the Palestines to take up their four obligations, and tell us that we can see the world of Palestinian world.
Margaret Brennan: You work when you are in Palestine condition. The US President gave a clear language, and when I pressed the state secretary at this time last week, he said, this is far from the future. How long do you think it will take before the Palestinian Gaza and to see the situation?
Badr Abkalaty: Well, what’s urgent now, now, finishing this battle for innocent Gaza, they provide food and medicine there. And then we should move forward in the pre-gleaming. Also, then, talking about governments related to the governance and the Gaza Safety Program. And then, from our Presence, the last game, the last, the perfect solution will be the fulfillment of the Palestinian state. Because besides, we are confident of getting old lessons, that without resolving Palestine’s cause, without conflicting in the region, you don’t know, no peace and strength in the region. And Trump’s peace system, it refers to the situation. And, then, 144 countries are voted into accepting the two state solution in New York. So this is a sport in town.
Margaret Brennan: Well, too, that looks a lot of time. I want to return to the security question, because it is important to rebuild, and share with you some limitations in the United Nations here. The UN says 92% of Gaza housing units are destroyed or injured. About 92% of schools will need to build full or reset. 77% of the full street network damaged. 86% of the perfect crolland is destroyed. How much this will be expensive, and where does this amount come from?
Badr Abselatty: Well, first, we have full confidence in the leadership of President Trump and his view of peace. He is the only person who can end war and open the new chapter in the Middle East, chapter and peace for the people of Israel, the Palestinians, and all the people in our region. Thus, thankful, we are grateful for his leadership, and fully supports his viewpoint and leadership. This is one. The second number, work hard now regarding the international conference between Egyptian conference and the United States, European Armary, Armain, Arab Peace Program and Trump Reproduction Program. So I met today with Deputy Secretary General for Affitarian Affitarian Affication News Tom Fletcher, and we work very hard with the last test report. In—
Margaret Brennan: Yes, we will look at that number issued next time, Mr. Foreign Minister, I have to leave it right now. Good luck and Conference. We will go back.
