UAE leaders praise visionary leadership of Sheikh Mohammed on 20th anniversary of Accession Day
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, praised the outstanding leadership and vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai on the 20th anniversary of his rule as Ruler of Dubai.
Joining His Highness were UAE officials and dignitaries, including his son and Crown Prince of Dubai, HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, and HH Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of Abu Dhabi. On social media X, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, said: “In honor of my brother Mohammed bin Rashid’s 20 years at the head of our government, we celebrate his inspiring record of achievements and forward-looking vision that continues to drive the UAE’s growth.”
“May God protect him as we work together to pursue the progress and development of our beloved nation.”
Sheikh Hamdan also took X and wrote that his father always believed in the people of the UAE and recognized the power of man as the greatest wealth of the nation.
“Thank you, Mohammed bin Rashid. You will always be a father, a leader, and a source of inspiration for us,” said Sheikh Hamdan.
“With unwavering determination, you have built a proud legacy for the nation, guiding its progress and encouraging optimism at all times. You have always believed in the people of the UAE, recognizing the power of the people as the nation’s greatest asset. Your visionary leadership has turned ideas into global successes and challenges into opportunities.”

Sheikh Khaled said that Sheikh Mohammed’s leadership focuses on cooperation as a core principle and is guided by a practical, future-oriented vision. This philosophy embeds a “nothing is impossible” mindset across government, turning ambition into measurable success and collective effort into sustainable national impact.
Sheikh Khaled added that Sheikh Mohammed’s administration has evolved into a globally recognized symbol of government efficiency, innovation, and leadership in all sectors.
Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, said Sheikh Mohammed’s vision has transformed Dubai.
“Today, we celebrate 20 years of leadership and vision under His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, two decades in which the impossible happened,” Sheikh Maktoum wrote in X.
“With his foresight and dedication, he reshaped the future of Dubai, the UAE, and the wider region. Under his leadership, the economy doubled, the UAE rose to prominence in the world, and Dubai became a hub for trade, business and innovation.
“Twenty years in which time was shortened for the benefit of humanity, the quality of life was improved, security was strengthened, tools changed, conditions were changed, and the most important thing remained… Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and his vision for tomorrow.”
