Trump’s Tweet about ‘strong’ world series is false

Did you see the tweet from President Donald Trump saying he will refuse to invite whoever wins the national series to the White House? Trump seems to be saying it’s because he believes the game is rigged, either by the mafia or the Democrats. But the tweet is not real. The post has gone viral on almost every major social media platform, but it is completely fake.

The post was made to look like it came from the President’s real social account, the platform he owns the first place where he posts all his inappropriate messages.

“No matter who wins I will refuse to invite the baseball team to my ballroom as they are both run by very weak officials from California and Ontario Canada,” read the fake tweets.

“I’m not keeping missing. We’re actively investigating mlb. This world chain is tight, probably with DEMS & MAFIA,” Tweet Fake continues.

The screen spread far and wide over the weekend, appearing on threads, x, bluesky, instagram, and facebook. But Trump has never written on this.

The reaction to the original viral post, especially among Blue Jays fans, is that the team is currently playing the Los Angeles Dodgers for the World Series Championship. The series is tied 1-1 and game 3 will be played tonight.

Many Canadians scoffed at the true trump spectacle, because they didn’t think a Canadian team would even be invited to the white house in the first place. Trump slapped Canada with a 10% tariff over the weekend because he was mad about an ad that featured Ronald Reagan’s opposition to tariffs. US Treasury Secretary Scott is called Ad “Psy-Op” by the Canadian government on Sunday. Trump says the ad is a lie, he insists it’s an AI lie. But it is true.

Things are different for the American team, which can make an invitation to the White House if they win. The Dodgers won the World Series last year and actually showed up in April to pay attention to the pictures. Trump also got a “47” jersey from the team, because he’s kind of the 47th President. We say “kind of” because he is only 47 years old if you don’t count the number of people to hold the office, but the number of consecutive names that make up one period. And of course, it’s not really fair because Grever Cleveland served with two names that don’t appear at all.

There are many red flags in a fake post from Trump, but a reference to the ballroom may be one of the most glaring. The President demolishes the East Wing of the White House, and builds a ballroom with “donations” from private companies and individuals who have given him millions. But even in the most ambitious timeline, the ballroom won’t be completed by the time the 2025 World Change Champion visits the white house. Trump has not announced a date to end his mock power, but the administration has said it will be done before his second term ends on Jan. 2029.

Some fake posts that have been discovered a little, but still appear here and there on social media, specifically calling out the blue jay.

“We will be investigating the United Nations and American Blue Jays who are trying to steal our beloved national series,” said Toket Ifwesi. “They will definitely not be invited to the white house.”

It is interesting that the writer Stephen King seemed to cross the first tweet in this article, making fun of it in X, but the public notes tried to look at the Tweet referring to the blue Jay. That’s how twitro seems to not trump tweets these days. No one can keep any of these things straight.

The reason fake tweets go viral is that it’s impossible to tell which of President Trump’s tweets are true. Trump has always been on his rocker, but he’s spiraling into insecurity during his second term, posting some of the weirdest things a President has ever said publicly.

As just one recent example, Trump posted a video of an AI last month talking about “Medbeds,” a concept that claims there are real beds hidden from the public. The video even features a spectacular Trump receiving these conditions for a cure and insisting that it will be available soon to “bring all citizens back to full health.”

In a world where the President sends out mindbeds – to say nothing of the Department of Homeland Security and sends out Nazi propaganda – it can be very difficult to tell the truth. And that will not change as long as the Trump administration remains in power. In fact, we may have gotten much, much worse.
