The talks are said to include new agreements on critical minerals and commercial deals, including Boeing’s plan to sell dozens of planes across the region.
The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirsiyoyev, called the meeting “the beginning of a new era” of US-Central Asia relations and proposed to establish a Permanent Secretary of State.
