President Donald Trump announced on Monday that the US will allow Nvidia to export Chinese-intelligence (ai) chips to China and other countries, which will be gradually restored by the limit of the biden-era chip.
Trump said that the US will receive a 25% share from H200 Chip Exports and that trade is closely monitored to protect national security.
“I made it to President XI, of China, that the United States will allow NVIDIA to export its H200 products to be approved by customers in China,” Trump said in a social media post.
“President XI answered well! $ 25% will be paid to the United States of America,” said Trump. “This policy will support American jobs, strengthen US manufacturing, and benefit American taxpayers.”

In a statement to FOX News, Nvidia welcomed the decision, which comes after the company pleaded for better trade relations with China after the ban on its most advanced AI chips.
“We also like the President’s decision to allow the US chip industry to compete to support high-paying jobs and make them in America,” said an Nvidia spokesperson. “Offering the H200 to approved commercial customers, removed by the Department of Commerce, strikes a thoughtful balance that is good for America.”
The H200 Chips work with high performance made by nvidia that helps to run artificial intelligence programs, such as Chatbots, Machine Learning and Data Center Operations.

Trump also criticized the Biden Administration’s 2022 bid clock rules that limited the export of advanced AI chips and semiconductors to China over national security concerns. The restrictions mainly refer to Nvidia’s previous generation of high-end chips, such as the A100 and H100, to prevent China from gaining a technological edge.
He said these rules reduce creativity and companies are forced to produce “clean” chips for companies that are allowed to sell under export controls.

“The Biden administration is forcing our good companies to spend billions of dollars building ‘retarded products’ that nobody wanted, and hurting American jobs,” Trump said. “That era is over! We will protect national security, create American jobs, and maintain America’s leadership in Ayi.”
“Uvidia’s American customers are already moving forward with their amazing, highly advanced black chips, and soon, ruby, the one that will work for the whole company. The same way will work with AMD, Intel, and other American companies too!”

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang has long sought to improve US-China trade relations, stressing that access to the Chinese market is essential for artificial intelligence competition.
“It’s clear that we really need America to get back into the Chinese market so we can compete there,” Huang said earlier. “Good for the American people. Good for the American Tech stack. Good too [we’re] He knows how to compete in China so that we can be successful in the world. “
