Tom Hanks’ wild, many clean jokes with wit, must see Halloween Freak show

Every once in a while, I have to remind myself that Tom Hanks wasn’t always the respectable guy. Earlier in his career, he starred in some weird comedies, and I mean that in the best way.

Ray Peterson (Tom Hanks) is bored in his apartment on vacation from work, so he does what most people do with a lot of time on their hands: He starts worrying about the people around him. Every new “hint” can be something bad or something normal. Are the klopeks burying the bodies, or the neighbors fighting each other over their mistrust of the new Weirdos on the block? Are Ray’s friends letting him know, or are they just happy to have something interesting happen for once?

The ” plugs it thrives on uncertainty. You watch Ray Uvelveve as he tries to piece together a mystery that may or may not be real, and the joy comes from watching everyone commit for so long to a reason for a reason.

A troubled dream of a troubled city with dark sense of humor, This page Bends It turns a boring neighborhood into a Conspiracy Thriller fueled by paranoia, amateur investigation, and the knowledge that something might be going wrong behind closed doors. Or maybe Ray just needs to get back to work.
