This ramody of raunchy 80s Sci-Fi will make you question the concept of intelligent life

I’ve searched high and low for a movie that only features stupid aliens, and finally hit a load of 1985 Morons from outer space. Taking the slope can handle it, but the point is that I finally got something to hold back in thought for 90 minutes. Everything I wanted to see happened here, to be honest, but I can’t say I’m happy with its execution. A low-budget operation in suggesting a normal outdoor life that is less dull than we think, there are still plenty of fun times inside Morons from outer space That will do even the worst Sci-Fi fans.
Low budget comedies that aren’t afraid to stick to their limitations, Morons from outer space It’s a strong proof of concept, but it wasn’t intended to accept its more irrational premise instead of spinning around it.
Acne from outer space
Morons from outer space It introduces Bernard (Mel Smith), Sandra (Joanne Pearce), Desmond (Jimmy Nail), and Julian (Paul Bwnn), four space truckers who haul rocks. After accidentally disconnecting from their Orbiting Space Station, Sandra, Desmond, and Julian crash-land in the UK while Bernard remains in Orbit without incident.
When the Government learns of the existence of extraterrestrial life, they expect flawless humanoids with advanced intelligence and great intelligence. Instead, they find a bunch of creatures that look like humans, but are very stupid.
Under a series of cognitive tests, the aliens quickly eliminated all the officials assigned to investigate them. Julian is a very annoying idiot, he openly wonders why they make him assume answers with already known answers. In Julian’s mind, if they already have the answer, why ask him anything? Just tell him what they know and are done with. Lack of intelligence aside, Sandra, Desmond, and Julian become celebrities in Overning and are treated like royalty just because they’re from another world.
Bernard is not so lucky. You crash into the US and are quickly saved because no one believes you are an alien. It’s amazing that he’s the smartest member of the group, and he’s still kicked out without even getting a chance to explain his situation.
You can’t keep up with its shtick
As I wanted to enjoy Morons from outer spaceit spends a lot of time hovering around its absurd premise instead of fully empowering it. One of my favorite bits, which I wish the film explored more, was the obvious callback to Steven Spielberg’s Close encounters of the third kindwhen the UK government tried to communicate with the ship of good behavior using many multi-musical phrases, only referring to Scott Joplin’s amazing dedication to “entertainment.”
The problem is that moments like this are few and far between. Most of the jokes in the movie play out as a tight loop of the martians saying, “Oh WOW, we’re really stupid.” The power is there for the humor to come from government agencies that can’t scramble to understand the situation, not from aliens who endlessly remind us how embarrassing they are. Having Griff Rhys Jones and Mel Smith approach the screen from that screen, would have made a very interesting and creative movie.
Dumb guests are still a concept I’d like to see fully fleshed out in the media, too Morons from outer space at least a strong attempt to prove the idea has legs. That’s all, you should appreciate what’s not good and stream it for free on tubi.
