The sign of Getafe 4, Mallorca is looking for a big offer

A roundup of the latest happenings in the transfer window, as La Liga clubs look to add to their squads in January.

Alaves

Real Betis striker Cedric Bakambu has been heavily linked with a move away in January, while Matteo Moretto says Alaves are one of the clubs interested in him, but Genoa are also chasing him.

Barcelona

Barcelona have decided not to entertain any more offers for Roony Bardghji’s loan, say Sport. Hansi Flick appreciates him as an important member of his team. Meanwhile 17-year-old Ecuadorian midfielder Ederson Castillo is on court. Sports say their plan is to sign him in 2027 to Barca Atletic, if they are impressed enough.

Mamadou Mbake Fall is leaving the team, after The Athletic reported that there is an agreement to be concluded with the American team St. Louis City.

Celta Vigo

Celta Vigo have inquired about Sporting CP defender Jeremiah St. Juste, but he could face competition from Valencia, reports Matteo Moretto. Sky Sports News, via MD, says a deal is expected to be made on Fer Lopez’s loan, but the deal is still being ruled out over his salary.

Elche

Talented youngster Rodrigo Mendoza, who has attracted Manchester City and Real Madrid in the past, could be on the move this winter. Diario AS says that Lazio are willing to pay him around 20 million Euros. Ali Houary has joined Mirandas on loan until the end of the season. Marca also said striker Rafa Mir, on loan from Sevilla, could leave. Marca says he has an offer from Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad, and is considering his options.

Lucas Cepeda to come in for €1.8m from Colo Colo in Chile. That will get 70% of the rights of the flexible defender, but another E700k is available in bonuses, reports Diario AS. Abiel Osorio joined Defensa y Justicia, but he will stay there in laon.

Espanyol

After seemingly missing out on Ferran Jutgla, Espanyol have turned their attention to Porto’s Angel Alarcon. However, Diario AS say they will join Utrecht on a loan deal with an option to buy.

Getafe

Getafe have brought in Olympique Lyon striker Martin Satriano on loan until the end of the season, along with fellow Argentine Sebastian Boselli on loan from River Plate. A centre-back by trade, he will give Jose Bordalas plenty of options at the back, as will Zaid Romero, another full-back, on loan from Club Brugge. Up front, a second striker in the form of Luis Vazquez has joined on loan from Anderlecht.

Girona

After signing Marc-Andre ter Stegen on loan, Girona have signed midfielder Fran Beltran from Celta Vigo. The 27-year-old leaves the Galicians after more than seven years and 263 appearances, and six months before the end of his contract, he joined Girona for €150k.

They also confirmed the deal for Manchester City talent Claudio Echeverri who is on loan until the end of the season. Jhon Solis went the other way, joining Birmingham City on loan. MD says Ukrainian striker, 20, Oleksandr Pyshchur will arrive on loan from ETO FC. Fabrizio Romano says the deal will be permanent, and could be worth around €1m.

Levante

As reported by El Chiringuito, Levante have loaned Lille midfielder Ugo Raghouber. The 22-year-old will be at Ciutat de Valencia until the end of the season. Marca says they are also working on the loan of 20-year-old player Momodou Sonko from Gent. They have already signed right winger Tay Abed from PSV Eindhoven for €200k.

RCD Mallorca

Vedat Muriqi, who has 14 goals this season, has attracted Fenerbahce as a possible replacement for Youssef En-Nesyri. Diario AS claim that the Turkish giants are willing to offer around €15 million for him, but the Kosovan striker has publicly stated that he will leave the decision to the club. Midfielder Omar Mascarell could be out suddenly. MD says he has a request to leave, and doesn’t feel important to the team, as his contract will expire in the summer.

In terms of reinforcements, RadioMarca say Mallorca are in talks with Bologna for 22-year-old Benja Dominguez. Justin Kalumba, 21, has already arrived on a free from Angers to give Mallorca more options.

Osasuna

Osasuna have confirmed the signing of Raul Moro from Ajax, for a fee of five million Euros to acquire 50% of his rights. He signed a five-year contract, and will have a release clause of 100 million euros.

Rayo Vallecano

Rayo Vallecano have announced the signing of youngster Ilias Akhomach on a season-long loan from Villarreal. They don’t have the option to buy.

Real Betis

In addition to the interest from Napoli, Marca claim that various Premier League clubs are interested in Ez Abde. Uruguay striker Gonzalo Petit ended his loan spell with Mirandes to join Granada for the second half of the season, again on loan.

Going the other way, Matteo Moretto reported that 20-year-old Estudiantes midfielder Mikel Amondarain is attracting interest from Betis. They will consider moving in the summer.

Real Madrid

Real Madrid are pursuing the signing of 19-year-old right-back Iker Doblas, who plays for Damm, according to Diario AS. In his opinion, he will join Real Madrid C.

The real Oviedo

Real Oviedo have signed Argentine midfielder Thiago Fernandez on loan from Villarreal. Veteran right-back Alvaro Lemos left Granada on a free.

Sevilla

Sevilla are in talks with Independiente del Valle for striker Patrik Mercado. They are eager to sign him quickly, but Independiente are looking to keep him until the summer, explains Matteo Moretto.

CSKA Moscow have made a €5 million bid for defender Kike Salas, but Diario AS say Sevilla have rejected it, feeling it is too low.

Valencia

Valencia are believed to be close to signing Guido Rodriguez on loan, says Diario AS. The Argentine midfielder is out of contract at West Ham United in the summer, and they could look to extend his deal before letting him leave.

Villarreal

Long-time left-back Alfonso Pedraza has told Villarreal he is leaving the club at the end of the season. The veteran will sign for Lazio, says Marca.
