The perfect Thriller pulls all the rules until you break them

By Robert Scucci | Being published
When a couple of crooked cops bust in your front door, tough it out, drag you back to the station, and look at you while you’re looking for a lead on a stolen car case, you really have a few options. First, you can encourage him, you can keep your mouth shut, and know with confidence that without consent you will be a free man after a few hours because there is no real evidence to tie you to this if you are not really guilty. Or, if Edward Rodney Fleming (Hugo weaves) in 1998 The conversationinstead you can agree to a series of murders tied to the number of missing persons related to missing persons that have increased in the past few years.
Although this sounds like the worst thing an innocent person would do, The conversation proves that if you are smart enough, this is a perfect offensive strategy. Disclaimer: I’m not a lawyer, so don’t try this at home. I’m just commenting on how clever the movie is, not how clever I am. I’ve been pulled over twice in my life, once for running a stop sign that was hidden by buses (I contested it by mail), and another time because the little light above my license plate went out. I almost threw up both times.
An innocent man…or is he?!

The conversation It’s so layered that it won’t keep you guessing the entire time, you’ll be asking questions long after the credits roll. When Edward Rodney Fleming is suddenly noticed by Sergeant John Steele (Tony Martin) and Detective Wayne before (Aaron Jeffery), he comes from a passionate place. Living in a field after losing his job with his wife, Fleming is confused and scared because he is a man down on his luck, just trying to get by. Soon he gets handcuffed, attacked, dragged to the station, where the stere begins and before throwing him in a stolen car with Andrew Beecroft (Doug Dew), who has been reported missing.
Keeping His Innocence Innocent, Punishment Asks for a Lawyer, Who tells him to keep his mouth shut for a few hours and he’ll be a free man and seem to be fighting. Meanwhile, internal affairs has its own investigation into Steele’s threat to suspects like Fleming, and the area facing the evil machine tied to his incoming police. Fleming, taking this after looking at the station while making his call, suggests that he is the only one responsible for the disappearance of the missing car and the beecroft, and the string of missing persons that cannot be solved, but also the string of missing people that has not been solved with enthusiasm for some time.
Throwing the text again, and again

Here it is The conversation It gets interesting. Fleming was denied food and drink while being held against his will. He also saw a video camera that ends up focusing on the behavior of Steele’s steele when the tape recorder is closed, which when the steele leans on the twist, it thinks it is a record. Fleming agrees to be killed, only when the video camera is working, and will only give them the information they want if they feed. When detective Jackson, who is in charge of the operation, questions the murders, Fleming goes back into full-on shrinking mode as his confidence grows.
Do you really want an innocent carjacking suspect trying to get a free meal while dragging steel and past reputations through the mud using fiction? Or is he actually a serial killer who knows they have nothing against him and are enjoying the fact that he was arrested without charge? That’s the mystery that comes close to it The conversationand it keeps you on edge because there’s no reliable way to know what’s going on inside his head.
It’s not boring, trust me

Set almost completely in the examination room, The conversation It’s a big talkie movie with context dripping in every word. Facial expressions, vocal dynamics, and Precinct politics take center stage as we read each character’s writing through what they say, not what they do. An all-seeing video camera in the room fills in the blanks, forcing Jackson, Steele, Prior, and the audience to piece together the puzzle based on the available features.
Time, wise and fierce, The conversation it’s more than a few detectives talking to a suspect. It is an allegation of a corrupt system that intimidates and targets potentially innocent men to plead guilty to crimes they did not commit. The mystery comes from the fact that Fleming knows this and exploits the dangers of the endings before they even realize what he’s doing. For all we know, he’s just using the situation to get a free hot meal after being treated badly. He could also be an amazing serial killer. Who knows? Half the fun is finding this.

If this sounds like a mystery you want to solve, go for it The conversation free on tubi. When you’re done, feel free to start it again from the top because this one has assignments.
