The new report, written by Hoffman and released Monday on Fox News Digital, argues that economic prosperity and environmental protection go hand in hand — and that energy efficiency does not have to mean energy scarcity.

“Stimulating demand for energy for manufacturing, technology, transportation, aerospace and data centers for intelligence (AI) means reducing dependence on countries such as China, Iran and Russia,” the report said.

“As we grow more prosperous as a society, as we have to meet this growing demand for electricity, the additional energy production of the United States is not something that is difficult for fossil-based renewables … or the transfer of a primarily renewable economy,” Hoffman said.
“We have a lot of people consuming energy and we don’t have reliable energy to match that level, putting us in this dangerous situation – that’s why we’re seeing higher prices,” he said.

Hoffman emphasizes the acceptance of “all reliable sources of energy” and calls for the expansion of alternative, reliable options – including oil, gas, coal, geothermal – rather than in favor of renewables.
The report notes that natural gas accounts for the largest share of US electricity generation at 43.1%, followed by Nuclear (20%), Geothermal (0.4%). It also means that the US economy could face a loss of $7.7 billion
“Every state in America, all 50 states, should aspire to independent energy. It’s not enough to depend on Texas, Pennsylvania, and other states that produce energy,” Hoffman said. “We are in the laboratory of democracy. Every state can play with power how it will play, but that is the truth – that if you depend on unreliable power, only solar and wind, you will be declaring power to be lacking.”
