Bold and Beautiful is surprised as Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) jaw drops with the shocking news that Eric Forrester (John McCook) is Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) new lead designer. Liam is now sworn to secrecy by his father, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), and at Eric’s insistence. However, I doubt Liam will be able to keep the secret.

To me, it was a low-key funny scene when Liam walked into Bill’s office Spencer Publications right there Eric, Katie, and Bill were looking at Eric’s paintings and talking about the wow factor they saw there. It was probably going to fly under the radar, but Liam saw it all, and it just got stronger. They all looked guilty, as if they had been caught.
A Surprise Encounter at Spencer Publications
It was also funny to see Eric come in with a hat, scarf, and sunglasses in disguise—his little homage to the original Sally Spectra from back in the day. Then Eric surprised Katie with a bunch of amazing paintings, a whole couture collection, and Katie said it was exactly what she wanted. Bill was over the moon about it, too.
But things quickly got complicated when Liam interrupted them and quickly put the pieces together. The guilty looks on their faces told the story, along with all the paintings that were set. They had to admit that yes, Eric is the lead designer of Katie’s mystery.
Then Bill came in and told Liam, “This is Spencer’s business, and he can’t tell anyone, not even Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).” This week, Bill gets the all-clear and says Liam can’t tell his wife or his mother-in-law, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Why Liam Spencer Can’t Keep a Secret from Hope Logan on B&B
That seems easier said than done. I don’t see Liam sticking to what Bill wants, at least not fully. I think Liam will absolutely tell Hope. Below, that’s Liam’s wife. He knows that he can trust Themba to keep quiet.
Also, I’m sure Liam thinks Hope has a right to know since Katie is Hope’s aunt, and there’s already Logan drama going on about the whole rival fashion house. So, the big question is, when will the secret come out?
Will it stay hidden until the fashion show when Eric and Katie come out to greet the crowd, or will someone crack under the stress and spill? Donna Logan’s (Jennifer Gareis) is already feeling the heat, and soon, Liam will, too. That’s why I bet Themba will soon find out what’s going on.
The Impact of Logan’s Fashion Secret on Ridge and Brooke on The Bold and the Beautiful
Since this big secret will affect his mother, Brooke, and his stepfather, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), and both families, I think Liam will feel like he can’t keep it from Hope. I think Liam will tell Hope, but also tell her that Bill and Katie insisted that she keep quiet.
But I think even Liam will tell her that even more than them, Eric insists on keeping it quiet. He told Liam that he knew he would be relieved if they found out. But Eric said Ridge and Brooke brought this on themselves by pushing him out. Eric said Logan it is his new chapter Bold and Beautiful.
I think Liam might leave the office with the intention of trying to stay a secret, but I think that will disappear once he’s alone with Hope. This week, you are Forrester Creations office and listen to Ridge talk Logan and again.
Hope Logan Investigates the Mysterious Designer at Logan Designs
Bill didn’t need to give Katie office space in his building because he just Logan they live free on Ridge’s head every day. Ridge tells Brooke and Hope that no top designer will work for the egomaniac who runs the company, also known as Dollar Bill Spencer.
I suspect Hope might bring up the nasty things Ridge was saying to Liam. Hope might read the look on Liam’s face and see that he knows something about the mysterious designer, which would make sense since they work in the same offices.
I think Hope might talk and talk to Liam until he shakes the truth at her. But I don’t think Hope will run to tell Ridge or Brooke. I think she’ll keep it a secret, but it might be hard to keep quiet since Ridge will keep talking about Katie’s fashion house. We could see Hope chuckling and telling Ridge that he shouldn’t count them out once he finds out Eric is involved.
Seeking Respect and Validation by Eric Forrester in B&B
I also expect Hope to stop by and talk to Eric at some point. I think she’s going to tell Hope how much Ridge hurt her. Eric might remind Hope that Ridge said bad things to her during the event The Forrester coup d’état.
Eric was also unhappy that they had taken over, but Ridge called Hope the B word and told her that everyone hated her. He might as well tell Hope, “Look, Ridge ruined it. He and Brooke turned on Katie. They both ruined me. And it’s time for Ridge to be written a real check.”
Eric may tell Hope that her aunt Katie has given her a new lease on life. Honestly, Eric deserves this, and Ridge deserves so much more for what’s to come. Eric was very happy with the compliments he received from Katie and Bill for the photos. Eric said he hasn’t received such a compliment in a long time. You obviously need validation and respect.
The Fall of the Forrester Family Secret Revealed
The fact that he hasn’t heard that in so long tells you how much Ridge has underestimated Eric. I think Hope will keep quiet for Eric’s sake. He and Donna Logan may have a conversation about how they knew this was going to blow up, but their hands are tied.
They won’t reveal Eric’s secret and ruin something that makes him so happy. We’ll see if it turns out that Katie hired Eric sooner rather than later. I hope the secrecy continues until Logan’s first fashion show when Katie and Eric walk down the runway after the show.
Once it’s out, Ridge will blame it on everyone but himself. I think you will blame Bill and Katie. Ridge might say they’re taking advantage of his elderly father who is in poor health, which I think will offend Eric even more—like he’s incapable and doesn’t know his own mind.
February Sweeps Predictions for the Bold and the Beautiful
I’m sure it will turn out that Donna, Liam, and Hope were sitting on this one. Brooke may tease Hope about why she hid this from her, but let’s be real—Brooke always puts Ridge first above everyone else. So why shouldn’t Hope put Liam first? And why shouldn’t Donna put Eric first?
If Hope hears this from Liam about Eric being a designer, she might turn around and go back to Bill and say, “Look, I betrayed you because I told Hope, but I couldn’t keep it from him and you shouldn’t have asked me to keep it from my wife.” Liam can also assure Bill, Katie, and Eric that Hope won’t spill the secret.
We swept you in February, so I’m expecting something big to come up with Logan designs and Ridge’s obsession with predicting that Katie and Bill will crash and burn. Ridge seems to be waiting for Katie to come crawling back asking for her job Forrester Creations because he was telling Brooke that he would rehire her.
Ridge thinks it’s a done deal—that Katie is going to fall flat on her face. Of course, that will not happen. I think This is Logan’s place it will be a smash success. This is going to go down soon, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
