Students expose antisemitic, ‘cheap’ professors at NYC universities

Specialties: Most of the students expressed the “cheap” ideas held by some university professors who “play a role” in creating an antisemitic environment on campuses, receiving the anti-anti message and what should be “in their schools.

Jewish students from Nyu, Columbia, Barnard College and Baruch College sat down with Fox News Digital during an exclusive interview and revealed some professors from other top schools in New York City and the US

“I’ve had a lot of peers share the most disturbing things professors have said in class, whether they’re in courses directly related to Middle East politics or in classes that have to be completely organized about what’s happening in the Middle East,” said Columbia’s Tj katz.

“We had professors organizing for students, not supporting students,” Nyu’s Mera Skoblo told Fox.

“Just the presence of these professors on campus, you know, most of them in their offices have signs that say things like our things,” explained the Palestinian signs.

“I had professors who were antisemitic,” Hellinger of AIDAS of Baruch told the fox. “I know that students who have had professors who say it is antisemitic, we are put in positions where we can’t do anything about it, because they can call us to our class.”

“We need to get the storms out of the classroom, in addition to the Department’s research books,” said Showana Aufzien of Barnard.

Popular university chancellor says anti-Israel campus protests ‘inspired by Iran’

Columbia University has been one of the most famous campuses to have faced controversy and anti-Israel demonstrations. Since Oct. 7 Hamas Attack Attack in Israel, hundreds of students and non-students have been arrested because of protests.

Nyu faced the same, but he protested a lot, including on December 12, 2024, a demonstration outside the University library where the protesters borrowed “AVIV is stolen.”

Skoblo described his fear as a Jewish student on campus, saying “a lot of us are scared.”

“The last two years on college campuses across New York City have been difficult for Jewish students,” Skoblo said. “Some of us are hiding our identity. We cried. We were banned from our library for the twentieth week.”

“We have to learn how when we hear singing that screams our destruction, it makes us feel unsafe and unheard,” said Skoblo.

When asked if faculty influenced or pressured students to take a particular stance on the Middle East conflict, Aiden Herlelinger of Baruch College said, “I think professors definitely play a role.”

While students explained that antisemitism has existed on college campuses for a while, students noted that the recent rise in tensions or influencing students to participate in demonstrations, led to expulsions, suspensions and arrests.

As for the consequences that professors may face for being accused by their students of collaborating, Herlinger said there will be none.

“[Professors are] He will not face consequences, especially in a school like a public school that is a public school, and it is funded by the government of New York State, and the government of New York City,” said Herlinger City.

“These are just professors who will not face the consequences.”
