He might have seen that In South Park The most recent episode, “Twisted Christish,” was written and aired in the first episode of the season. Naturally, fans wondered if Trey Parker and Mathet Stone were getting their contract back. Currently, the creators of the show are still scheduled to deliver 50 episodes under their most important case, but that will not stop them from how they are written in the broadcast or delivery.
Now why South park slide second in season 28 without an announcement? Answer: 6-7. You know, a meme (thanks, skrilla). Personally, I think it’s kind of clever, but I have kids and I’ve talked to their teachers. 6-7 takes classes with annoying parents everywhere. After the last five episodes 27 of them have contributed, celebrating that sort of brain rot somehow feels appropriate.
Fans who weren’t featured in the meme were understandably confused. A quick browse through Reddit shows several posts asking what 6-7 even, what happened in Season 27, where exactly South park led this year.

Labeling the new batch as Season 28 is ridiculous in the same way Parker’s name and Stone Pretconling Token to Tolkien 25 is ridiculous. They’ve changed the website, character list, and subtitles throughout the entire comic strip, and that kind of commitment deserves respect. Switching to Soutison 28 Run-Run carries the same different power because it didn’t want a two-episode arc (it’s another cliffhanger) about 6-7 to cross the sixth and seventh episodes. At least that’s the running Fan Theory I subscribe to.
As for the overall “twisted Christian” storyline, it’s the same. Trump’s junk gets screen time at the 2:51 mark (and much more throughout the episode), Satan awaits his quest, the destined to be the antichrist, and Peter Thiel comes South park Investigating the Numerology behind the 6-7 meme.
Cartman, caught up in the joke, starts laughing violently and vomits in Act three, The exorcist-Style Point. Meanwhile, the PC principal and Jesus Christ argue about what makes a good Christian, JD Venus reveals his evil plans to hold the white house, and the rest of the guys are just beyond set up.
It’s funny now, but it won’t be considered a classic
I’ve made this argument for years: South park it’s so good when satire feels received, it can come in handy. 6-7 meme storyline is the season at the heart of season 16 “When the funny show is funny”
The Peter Thiel Jingle is like the “ballad of James Cameron” in ‘raising the bar,’ and the satanic ball is pissed off with saddam Hussein Gags from the late 90s. What first sounded like it now sounds like bad lip service. Been there, done that. It was a nice thing to show off for a moment, but it runs its course.
It’s not that the political comedy of season 28 annoys me on the other hand. It’s just boring. Trump’s humor works in small doses, but all the arcs that are built on him create quickly.
Mr. I’m glad he’s back in the classroom, but he’s not on screen anymore, so it doesn’t matter what he’s doing these days.
Ratings do not equal acceptance
My biggest gripe with season 27 wasn’t that rock bottom either; That’s when the park and the stone also said that they want to move past this kind of low satire because everyone is already doing it. When I point that out, new viewers think “you don’t get it” or that I’m being political. I am not. It’s just that the people who flock to Trump’s beats are the same – tearing up before breakfast to see which ‘ole 47 is top of the line to spend time with their families. South park It is used to balance small town stupidity with global politics in grown up ways. Now it sounds like the other side of molologie at night with cartoon avatars. Sure, ratings are high, but fan acceptance tells another story. “Twisted Christian” currently sits at 305 on IMDB out of all episodes counted. Not exactly an instant classic. Views are at their highest, but does that mean anything if the main streamer is gone?
South park Appointments for me since I was the same age as the boys (don’t tell my parents). But with season 27 coming out with SOSD 28, I can’t help but wonder how much of it will be true. I’ll keep focusing, but I’d be lying if I said I couldn’t die.
