Saudi Arabia to issue expedited tourist visas through a new visa-linked system
Saudi Arabia unveiled the first digital travel system that will issue tourist visas in minutes for eligible visa card providers, marking one of the most important aspects of world travel.
Saudi Arabia announced the “Visa with Torise Tourise Conventire profile to facilitate international travel, remove the conflict of high-value tourists and speed up visa decisions through deep digital integration and regulatory control.
Developed by the Saudi Tourism Authority in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, and the Ministry of Tourism, the program allows qualified travelers to obtain their tourist visa and their VISA details.

The platform uses travelers’ credit scores to ensure financial solvency, addressing the needs of destination countries while facilitating the approval of millions of potential visitors.

Minister of Tourism and Tourism Summit Chairman Ahmed Al-Khateeb said: “Visa by profile is about access – Access to opportunities, travel, and connectivity.
“By bringing together financial institutions and tourism authorities, we are creating a framework with global travel expertise that streamlines processes and expands access to scale.
“This marks a broad transformation in the way nations facilitate mobility – with faster decisions, more efficient systems, and a more seamless experience for travelers around the world.”
Pioneers’ Step
The Minister of Foreign Affairs Waled Elsenei said: “This pioneering initiative has been introduced to facilitate the entry of eligible visa card holders into the integrated platform, by communicating with participating banks through the visa.
“Eligible visitors will be able to get an expedited tourist visa easily and conveniently.
“This unprecedented step in the world is part of the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to promote the opening of tourism, enjoy the flow and inflow of tourists, and strengthen the position of tourists as rich tourism and tourism offerings.”

“By enabling secure, seamless visa renewal, we’re removing friction and creating a seamless digital pathway around travelers, governments and partners alike.”
Saudi Tourism Push
The move is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader push to improve its travel infrastructure and position itself as one of the most accessible travel markets in the world.
By linking financial verification with travel authorization, VISA through the profile aims to set a Global Benchmark for digital border management, using integrated data systems to reduce delays and harmonize the experience for both travelers and administrators.
