RTA to build new bridges traveling 23 feet and bikes by the end of 2030

The streets of Dubai and Transport (RTA) has revealed its strategies to build up new 23 feet and outside 2030.
RTA also built six bridges and pedestrians in important roads in Dubai. Five of these bridges scheduled to open before this year, and the sixth set to finish the first quarter of 2027.
Number of pedestrieving bridges and low tables grow from 26 in 2006 to 177 at the end of 2024, marking the increase of 581 percent. These efforts in expanding the road safety and integrating infrastructure contributed to pedestrian and accidents, from 9.5 death in 2007 to 0.3.
Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General, Chairperson of the Board of Directors Roads and Transport, commented: “RTA’s Drive to move a safe and continuous site of all pedestrians.
“Pedestrian bridges are already located, and those organized, making a network connecting the housing all the archangels, thus encouraged by the citizens to use the final stable travel methods for the first and last visit.
“Under the current system, RTA will create 23 additional bridges in 2030, by implementing detailed compliance field-based compliance, economic integration and transportation to improve traffic and navigation.”
RTA’s efforts to build Pedestrian Crosslings also raised pedestrianship levels in Dubai to 88 percent, and a pedestrian journey was up from 307 million to 2024, 20 percent. In addition, cycling journey increased from 44 million in 2023 to 46.6 million in 2024, indicating an increase of 5 percent.

Two new bridges
The bridge in Sheikh Rashid Street measures 91 meters in length, 3.5 meters in width, and 6.5 meters high, while the bridge in Al I Me Me Mze Street measures lengths, and 6.5 feet high.
Both bridges are installed, Stableses, and electromechanical system chambers of fire alarms and fire extinguishers, as well as the remote look.

The fifth bridge is in the Duba-Al Ain Road, connecting Wadi al Safa 4 (Liwan) Naid Hessa (Dubai Silicon Oasis). It puts 730 meters in length, 5.6 meters wide, and stands 7.8 meters on top of Duba-Al Ain.
The six pedestrian bridge is constructed as part of the future road development project in Al Sukook Street. Its design adapts to the cities of Dubai Central Business Business District. The bridge measures 44 meters, 4.6 meters wide, and 6.5 meters high, and is equipped with Lifts, Stables and electromy’s room.
