Raven-Symoné defends Lil Cosby Bill’s legacy amid sexual assault allegations

Raven-Symoné defended the complicated legacy of her former Co-Star, Bill Cosby.
SyMoné came to the defense of Cosby’s legacy, including “the cosby show.” The sitcom – which starred Phylicia Rashad, Lisa Bonet, tempestt cledsoe, malcolm-jamal warner, Sabrina Le Beauf – is one of the most popular and influential shows of the 1980s.
“Separate the Creator from the creation, and that’s where I live,” SyMoné said during an appearance on the anniversary episode of the “hate to tear it down” podcast.

According to Symoné, Cosby revealed how black players and crew members were hired.
“Now it’s like approval, but back then, especially in a black show, it was more important to see yourself, not before,” she said. “And Mr. Cosby instilled that in all of us, and I took it to Disney, wherever I went after that.”
The legacy of the show was being discovered later Cosby was accused of sexual harassment. Cosby’s 2018 conviction is set to expire in 2021. Since then, more women have come forward with allegations against the Comedian.

Warrener, who died on July 20, said he was proud of the show’s legacy before his sudden death.
“No matter how some people may feel about the show now, I’m still proud of the legacy and being a part of a foundational show that had a huge impact on — first of all, black culture — but also American culture,” said Warner Culture, “said Warner told People magazine in 2023.
Warner found fame as the son of Heathcliff huxpeble, played by Cosby, on “The Cosby Show” From 1984 to 1992. He has appeared in every episode of the NBC Sitcom.

Simoné found fame at the age of three after starring in “The Cosby Show.” He joined the show for the sixth season before the sitcom ended in 1992.
He expanded his career in music, movies and landed more roles on television. Symoné’s reputation is built on smoné
“I entered the Disney family when I was 13 with a movie called ‘Zenon: the girl of the 21st century,'” Mintoné recalled in an episode of the Podcast. “It was just fun because no one from the DJs at the time had a career like I had before signing with Disney.”

“I’ve had two shows, I’ve had two albums, I’ve already got a movie [and] I’ve already done all kinds of things,” he said.
SyMoné explained that he and his team tried to separate what was under the Disney umbrella from what was his.
