But Ramaswamy’s Campaign Stock a new competitive election and anti-competitive election, where he meets Gop elect Jack Ciattarelli in a remote dinner full of supporters, could pay dividends next year in his race at home.
New Jersey and Virginia are the only two states to hold gubernatorial contests the year after a presidential election, and the contests traditionally capture the attention of midterm elections.
And this year, they are seen to a large extent as indicators of the bavot box for President Donald Trump in an unprecedented second term.

Pointing to New Jersey and Virginia, Ramaswamy said in an exclusive interview with FOX News Digital that he would win the election “with a win, hopefully in places like Ohio next year.”
Ramaswamy arrived in New Jersey hours after the governor’s latest statewide poll showed Ciattarelli narrowing the gap with Rep.

“If you want to cut costs in this situation, back Jack,” Ramanwamy told the promising crowd. “If you want to make New Jersey great again, back Jack. We are ready, Jack, for change. This state is hungry for it.”
And Ramaswamy, the multimillionaioneire biotech entrepreneur and conservative analyst who pushed for “american first 2.0”

Ramaswamy, who is endorsed by Trump, is the only major Republican currently in the 2026 race to succeed GOP Gov.
A former Democrat. Ryan, his party’s choice in Ohio’s 2022 election, will be the second Democrat in the 2026 gubernatorial race, joining World Health Organization Director Amy Atton.
The Last Face: Ciattarelli, Sherrill, Conflict in the Negotiation Stage
“It doesn’t matter who they say is running,” Ramaswamy said when asked what Ryan’s vote would mean. “The beauty of our side of this election in Ohio is that we’re more united than we’ve ever been as a Republican party. But most importantly, we have a lot of support from the working class in Ohio. This is not coming out. This is not coming out.

Ramaswamy, as he spoke at a ciattarelli event in New Jersey, which included a crowd of a few outside diners, received encouragement to make another white house down the street.
“I’m 100% focused on Ohio,” Ramaswamy told Fox Digital News. “You can’t make long-term plans. Life never goes according to your plan.”
But he added, “We’re going to do our part in Ohio, and that’s my next step in how we save the country.”

Ramaswamy’s stop in New Jersey, less than three weeks until election day, comes hours after multiple sources confirmed to FOX news that Trump will hold Tele-Rallies with ciattarelli.
In what is expected to be a low turnout election, Trump’s support could prove crucial for Ciattarelli, who is making his third gubernatorial stint after losing to Murphy four years ago.
“Obviously there are a lot of people all over the state of Jersey who are excited about the work you’re doing,” Ciatarelli said

Asked if he considered himself part of the maga movement, Ciattarelli said he was “part of the new jersey movement.”
When asked about the President’s performance so far during his second term, Ciattarelli said, “I would definitely give the President an A. I think he is right in everything he does.”
“I think it tells us everything we need to know who sponsored Jack Ciattarelli. I give him an F right now,” Sherrill replied, as she pointed to the new high cost of living.

While the Democrats hold the longest gubernatorial and legislative high-profile state in blue Jersey, the Republicans are very competitive in gubernatorial contests, winning five of the last 10 elections.
And Trump made huge gains in New Jersey in the last presidential election, losing the state by just six percentage points, a huge improvement from his 16-point deficit earlier.
Ciattarelli said in a Fox News Digital interview last month that he was “really happy that the White House has helped us in any way we see fit,” and that he and his campaign are “frequently communicating with the White House about various ways they can help.”
And while there is no indication, at this time, that Trump will join ciattarelli in person in New Jersey, Campaign Strategists Chris Russell told Fox News, and we appreciate any help we get, and we appreciate any help that gives an extension. “

But the Democratic National Committee (DNC), released after Trump’s Tele-Rally speech was first reported by Axios, said Ciatarelli was ‘wishful.’
“It’s clear that this election comes down to one big fact: Jack is 100% for Trump, and Mikey Sherrill is 100% the new director of the new jersey,” said Vice President of Communications Abibi Rahman in a statement.
