PureHealth unveils AI-Powered National Diagnostic Lab in Abu Dhabi

PureHealth unveiled its AI-Powered lab, an AI-adged diagnostic facility developed under its sponsorship, Purelab, aimed at strengthening national diagnostic services across the UAE.

Awedy’s Ai-Powered lab is equipped to process more than 30 million samples per year and is designed with built-in capacity for future expansion, positioned to meet the UAE’s growing demand for advanced diagnostic capabilities.

Operating 24/7, Purelab’s Ai-Powered Lab combines AI intelligence, robotics, efficient infrastructure, and the UAE’s most advanced sampling systems.

This center offers more than 1,800 test parameters across a wide range of information, including anatomic pathology, hematopathology, histocomticlity of organ transplantation and disease detection, and environmental testing. It also offers comprehensive services in Coussione Clinical Pathology, including Chemistry, Immunoassay, Serology, and Microbiology.

Artificial intelligence in health care

The AI-Powered Lab is supported by a collaborative team of 1,300 expert vendors with experience in lab management and clinical operations, patient and clinical model support, and privacy compliance.

Arindam Haldar, CEO of Purelab, said, “Established as the UAE’s Core Facility, it will serve as the UAE’s hub for key health programs, including newborn screening, infectious disease surveillance.

The facility features sustainability features including hybrid mobility, paperless digital reporting, efficient window films, and solar panels on the roof, in line with the UAE’s Net Emissions Strateg plan.

Healthcare providers can send a variety of tests using a unified, efficient platform, reducing reliance on multiple locations. The lab also supports community-based diagnostics, including travel services and home testing pilots.
