Poverty means ‘Falling along the part’: Fitness Story
It was the life of the Christian Kraetsch during the Christiawech’s time and a little broke off.
Kraetsch, 65, used to work as a teacher at various schools and kindergartens in South-Western Germany, when he began to start feeling weak. It will be years before the Lukemia will be found during the Coronavirus epidemic.
The viral related limits meant it wasn’t happening because of some stem donors to leave, remember, making it very difficult for him to find a game.
Left without works
In 2021, a family, who lives in an inkelheim near Rhine River, was treated with another difficult beat.
Kraetsch’s husband was diagnosed with lung cancer, which means he has to offer his work on the Tech Firm near Mainz and begin to rely on disabilities.
Kraetsch was lucky when one of his three children suddenly was found to be a suitable cell donor with the most unusual flexibility of events, he said.
But despite his advanced life, he could no longer work his old work.
The lack of income meant a couple’s life as they knew – two cars, continue with holidays, to get out with families and friends – only.
Their circle of friends grow small and small as it became clear that they were real friends, said Kraetsch. “We couldn’t continue to continue participating.”
As he says this, depending on the line, Kraetsch’s voice cannot be upset.
But he wants others to go to his story, he said. “I hope people have opened their eyes slowly and haven.”
Financial hardship
“We were forced to enter our salvation,” says Kraetsch, notes that the parked money was drawn quickly.
Treatment payments, the cost of the hospital live, increasing the cost of living, and the cost of a motor vehicle needed in doctor’s account and purchase continued to be nominated.
“We have never been on vacation for years,” said Kraetsch. “You fall into piece of piece, like a blow, you can’t see the way out,” said with a new couple truth.
Asking his children with financial help are a red line of the 65-year-old, not boasting or embarrassing, but because of internal interior conviction, as he puts. “They must not take things that we can no longer afford.”
On the contrary, it is important to Kraetsch at least so that you can give his children something for their birthdays, even if it is just a little gift.
When it comes to food purchases, he is very aware that he does not spend money, notice that healthy food is a challenge for people in solid assignment.
Limited revenue means that the couple is around nearly € 150 ($ 175) measuring every month after the suspended cost including rent and car.
At the end of the month, Kraetsch remains adhering due to financial problems, he said.
Items often enjoyed doing it during his free time often crossed the road, such as swimming. When buying clothes, he now turns to second hand shops.
One of many
The Kraysch family is not a distant case. The recent exhibition at Mainz highlighted the installation of people living in poverty in the Serician-Palatinate. Kraetsch testimony is the only photo-in-the-outest-stigma remotes around the argument.
The front driver displayed at the exhibition had to stop his 50-year-old job after finding a cheap disc, and last run into debt.
Another woman is very limited to the ability to care for her parents, which meant that her pension standard was below the poverty line.
Some of the panic details they have when thinking about their washmaking can be separated, because they could not afford the new.
The struggle to receive help
In 2022, about 92,000 people in the Rheloping Rheloping – Palatinate receives Kingdom payments aimed at protecting the lives of those who cannot continue to work for health reasons, according to the German commercial trade report (DGB).
But in fact, benefits are left 79% of women and 61% more than lower men under the risk of risk risk limit.
Anyone who should come in less than 60% of the medieval revenue regarding poverty risk.
According to the state statistical office, 18.4% of women and 15.7 men were at risk of poverty in Rhileland-Palatinate in 2023.
That means that a large portion of people depends on the foreign aid, but getting help is not easy, the Kraetsch knows.
He puts an overview tape and a lack of information, either hospitals or authorities, such as the major obstacles of the people. “You’re really left on your own.”
You currently strive to receive dental treatment at the price that can afford it.
“You are afraid of your presence,” says Kraetsch – and you have to deal with it alone.
He does not want to bring about his husband, which has already been severely suffering from his sickness. “It is often keeping me wakeful at night.”
He gives time for himself to help. Kraetsch likes to leave all the back and walk in the Rhine River, who goes in a wine-growing region.
The man in Germany strives to sin poverty. The illness can lead to financial hardships for many, medicine and costs of hospitals and high costs of life are not added. Marijan Murat / DPA
