Modon based in Abu Dhabi has held a Consortium of investors in the US-based Wellington Lifesleyle “WLP) to support the long-term development of the Wellington International Promowgrounds in Wellington, Florida.
The company did not disclose financial details of the deal.
The Wellington International Equestrian Showgrounds is an ultra-luxurious commercial real estate complex with luxury residences, a boutique hotel, commercial space and a Championship Golf Course located in one of the city’s most renowned equestrian centers.
It will be Modon’s direct investment in equestrian development in the United States, and it strengthens its existing global strategy, and it strengthens its strategy of collaboration with leading leading organizations in expanding its presence in expanding its presence in Ultra-Luxury Deaptive Development.
With the investment, Modon joins WLP’s group of existing and active investors developing a portfolio of multi-asset lifestyle and sports properties. The portfolio includes world-renowned showrooms around the world; The Wanderers Club, a family-friendly country club offering golf, tennis, swimming and dining; Wellington, a new private club community that includes 253 luxury residences set to open in 2028 and a golf course designed by David Mclay Kidd, in addition to a luxury hotel, residences, shops, offices and restaurants. Together, these assets form a long-term master to strengthen Wew Wellington’s position as the world’s home of equestrian sport and luxury.
As part of the agreement, Moden will be the premier sponsor of the equestrian winter festival and the Adeali World Festival (AGDF) – The largest hunter competitions in the world.
