The fast-food chain confirmed the sale and its fast to Fox News Digital in a statement Wednesday.

“The commercial was produced in the Netherlands for McDonald’s, but we have decided to remove our Christmas AI Christmas ad,” said a spokesperson for the group. “It was intended to show the stressful times that can happen during the holidays in the Netherlands, but we realize that, for many of our visitors, it is the most pleasant time of the year. ‘

Although the video has been removed from YCDonald’s YouTube channel, clips of the advertisement have spread widely on social media, drawing mostly negative feedback.
