Exclusive: Amaala’s nine hotels set for Q3 2026 completion, Red Sea Executive Reveals

Saudi Arabia Ultra-Luxury Wellness The arrival of Ultra-Luxury will complete its first phase featuring nine hotels and 800 rejuvenating rooms at the end of the sea infrastructure created on the Red Sea.
Stephen Cheeseborough, head of development at Red Sea Global, revealed a specific timeline in an exclusive interview with Arabian businessProviding concrete finishing for a project that has been highly regarded by investors and operators since its 2018 season.
“Nine hotels will be completed by the end of Q3 2026, so that is an important contribution,” said Sheeseboough, that the development of the Triple Lake will be less than 350 hotels arranged for 12 kilometers.
Red Sea Global explains the Imaala Milestones
The disclosure provides greater clarity on Amaala’s development trajectory following Red Sea Global’s November announcement that the destination will welcome visitors “in the coming months.” While the company has confirmed six resorts will be opened in the first wave with the next one, the September 2026 Target provides developers, operators and investors with an Endpoint describing the construction of the first phase.
The timeline also positions Amaala to contribute to Saudi Arabia’s vision 2030 which aims to attract 150 million tourists annually and generate 10 percent of tourism revenue.
Cheeseboough who joined Red Sea Global in 2018 and oversees the development of both Fentucship projects, emphasizing that Amaraala’s life-oriented stance creates a complete offering for a company that works well and will increase it to 16 in the year 2026.
“When you combine the two, while each of them, in high-end tourist areas that will go on many visits, you can start to create a fun kind of circuit for residents or short-term visitors,” he said.
The Red Sea project, built on an archipelago of islands, offers luxurious comfort and island relaxation while Amaala is equipped with medical and wellness offerings located on a high-quality beach.
“If you look at the Red Sea, with the kind of low-lying islands, the uninhabited kind of comfort, the island relaxation of what we have now in the world class,” said Sheesebour.
Ilaala’s Hotel Lineup
The hotel portfolio at Amaala represents one of the most concentrated meetings of luxury hospitality brands in the Middle East with the Ritz-Carlton, alongside equinox, and Equinox’s Ourfel Nammos Nammos and Namimos Nammos Namos.
The coutempiecpe of the Wellness Evering is Clinique La Prairie, a Swiss medical operator of Health that makes its first prediction to have residences with the mark of its 110-year history. The property, designed by Minimalist Architect John Pawson, will feature state-of-the-art medical facilities and 13 residential units.
“Bringing a brand like Clique La Prairie to Saudi Arabia is about moving from where we are as a destination, and how we see where we are going and the Saudi GCC market,” Sheeseboough said.
Each hotel is strategically placed to serve different segments of guests and lifestyle preferences. The Marina District, anchored by the Nammas Beach Club will feature upside-down buildings, most of which feature an equinox emphasis on fitness and well-being. The Ritz-Carlton will cater to traditional travelers with luxury and destination weddings.
Six senses occupy a COVE close to the Mangroves that offer a more personalized experience while the rosewood continues for two kilometers along the coast of the private head. Four seasons living on a large lake with a very wide beach in what the cheese described as a more stylish configuration.
Led SeaL Global Vision
Amaala is firmly positioned in the luxury segment of Saudi Arabia’s booming tourism market, with accommodation offerings ranging from SAR4.5 million to SAR400 million.
“There are many different projects happening in the kingdom with different prices. Amaala is in the luxury market, that’s why we brought products like carcie la prairie and rosewood,” he said.
The destination will be served primarily by Alula Airport which is located approximately 45 minutes away by road with available transfers by car or shuttle. Visitors will also have the option of arriving via the already operational Red Sea International Airport.
Red Sea Global said that Amaala’s future tranches will be priced based on the market entry of the initial supply, although calls for subsequent periods of subsequent tranches were not disclosed.
