Esl Faceit Group opens new regional headquarters in Riyadh Amid Saudi Esports Boom

Esl Faceit Group (EFG), an Esports and Gaming Entertainment company, has officially opened its new regional house and Esporports Esports in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The launch marks a major step in EFG’s long-term commitment to EFG and its rapid expansion of the ESPOSTS Ecosystem, also establishing Riyadh as the global gaming capital.

“Saudi Arabia has moved beyond participation in the industry, actively guarding and leading its future,” said Niccolo Maisto, CEO of ESL Faceit Group (EFG), in an exclusive interview with Arabian business in August. “EFG’s presence in Saudi Arabia is a reflection of this momentum and momentum and a catalyst for further growth.”

A new purpose-built, state-of-the-art venue designed to host leading ESPORTS competitions, including the ESL Saudi challenge and international competitions. It will also be a Hub for fans, players and creators to compete, learn and connect through shared events and experiences.

Spanning more than 1,000 square meters, the place can accommodate more than 500 guests. It features an advanced production infrastructure, including more than 300 square meters of LED screens, and provides full broadcast, tournament and production operations.

“Today marks an important moment not only for EFG, but for the future of eSports in Saudi Arabia,” said Maisto.

“We are committed to supporting the vision of the Kingdom, by striking with its powerful intelligence, young people to conclude great growth. We are establishing to drive our RiyadhH, and we get to drive Riyadh which is becoming a major role for ESPORTS, and we are honored to play a leading role.”

The expansion aligns with Saudi Arabia’s National Games and Esports strategy, which aims for 39,000 new jobs and a contribution of SAR50 billion to GDP by 2030.

EFG said its new center will serve as the region’s main center for Talent Development, offering new opportunities for Saudi nationals in areas including broadcasting, content creation, event production, field operations and community management and community management.

By prioritizing local employment and skill building, the company aims to help create a sustainable eSports eSports ecosystem in the state. Riyadh Studio is designed to host training programs, teaching methods and production of Arabic language content for a global audience.

“Entering the new center in Riyadh, I felt the power of the new chapter and the opportunity for us as Saudi talent to shape the future of eSports,” said Mohammed Alasiri, HR director at EFG. “This studio is not just a building; It is an ambition for local, global standards, and community growth.”

The EFG global network brings together the veins of ESL, face, Dreamhack, reaching 225 million fans, 522 hours of live broadcast and 3.8 internet exposure in recent years.
