Elon Musk calls himself a ‘doer’ while criticizing Sen. Bernie Sanders as a candidate

Attorney Jeff Van Drew, RN.J., discusses the criticism of Sen. Bernie Sanders on Big Tech and the rapid rise of artificial intelligence on ‘The Evening Edit.’
Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk described himself as a “doer” in a Tuesday blog post on X, while emphasizing his claim that Sen. Bernie Sanders, Vt., is the taker.
“My Tesla and SpaceX shares, almost all of my ‘wealth,’ only increase in value as a function of how much useful product those companies produce and operate,” Musk wrote.
“This means that my ‘wealth’ can only grow as a result of producing more products and public services. In addition, anyone else who owns Tesla and SpaceX shares, including employees, participates in the appreciation of the shares,” he continued.
“That’s because I’m a doer, not a taker like world politicians Bernie Sanders. They take and take, because they can’t or won’t succeed,” he concluded.

During remarks at the US-Saudi Investment Forum in November, Musk suggested that eventually jobs will be dominated by robots and artificial intelligence.
In an August letter to X, Musk responded to someone who asked how workers being replaced by robots would support their lives when they weren’t working.
“There will be higher incomes around the world (not just basic income). Everyone will have better medical care, food, housing, transportation and everything else. Continuous abundance,” Musk wrote.
MUSK PREDICTS AI WILL CREATE ‘UNIVERSAL HIGHER MONEY’ AND MAKE SAVINGS UNNECESSARY
Tesla CEO Elon Musk said the spread of AI technology could make the job optional in 10 to 20 years, though he cautioned there’s a lot of work to be done between now and then.
A spokesman for Sanders responded to Fox News Digital’s request for comment from the senator on Tuesday by pointing to a video message released earlier this month in which Sanders spoke directly to Musk.
“Hello Elon Musk, this is Senator Bernie Sanders. I was happy to hear that with the rapid development of artificial intelligence and robots that you are funding, you will be bringing utopia to the world,” he said in the video.
“How will this problem arise?” he asked. The attorney said he is looking forward to learning how Musk and Musk’s “other oligarch friends” will bring “a better life” to working people.
“The takers like Bernie will eventually follow the doers, but they’re cowards and have no sense of adventure, so they’ll wait until it’s safe,” Musk said in a post on X this month.
Sanders replied, “Yes, Elon. I don’t have ‘any idea of adventure’ where that ‘adventure’, as you made it clear, will force tens of millions of workers out of their jobs. The goal of AI and robots should be to improve the lives of all people, not just make you and other oligarchs richer.”
