Dubai Robot Deliveries: Noon and Yango Launch an AI-powered autonomous service

Dubai will see fleets of delivery robots take to the streets to deliver everyday essentials straight to customers’ doorsteps.
Dubai has taken an important step in the urban infrastructure of the future with the launch of large autonomous robots in a new partnership between yango Group and Noon.
Mobility transforms autonomous delivery from a driver-driven concept to live action, starting with customers in minutes.
Robot delivery in Dubai
The partnership marks an important milestone from Dubai in improved mobility and enabled operations, supporting the Emirate’s long-term goals of reducing emissions, reducing friction and improving last-mile performance.
As the start of commercial sales under the partnership, Yango’s fully electric robots began to fulfill quick commercial orders in the Hartland soba community.
Customers can now select the robot option at the checkout of the daytime app, track the robot’s path in real time and unlock their secure room upon arrival of their smartphone.
The new system offers a way to import the contact side by minute for certain minutes.
The partnership will begin rolling out the service to residential communities across Dubai, before expanding across the UAE and the wider GCC based on performance data and customer insights gathered during the first phase.
Ali Kafil-Hussain, Chief Business Officer at Noon, said: “Partnering with Yango Group allows us to bring a convenient future delivery option to our customers.
“They give us the ability to deliver more during peak times, help keep service levels consistent, reduce outages and congestion, and create an experience that helps them live their lives with digital solutions.”

Islam Abdul Karim, Regional Head, Yango Group Middle East, said: “Together with Noon, we see this partnership as a stepping stone in making independent service towards everyday communities.
“By combining the expertise of the Yango group in the delivery of AI-Powered e-commerce, we can support cities, businesses and regulators in their journey of smart travel and sustainable digital cities.”
Nikita Gavrilov, Regional Head, Yango Tech Autorount, said: “Our robots have demonstrated reliable performance in real world situations.”
Fully electric robots plan independently, avoid obstacles and give way to pedestrians. Powered by AI navigation and routing technology, they have completed more than 1,500km of fully autonomous navigation for Dubai pilots, demonstrating consistent reliability in real-world habitats.
The release builds on previous approval from the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), which has approved Yango autonomous robots to operate on public roads and residential areas.
This shows Dubai’s commitment to aviation and deploying advanced air travel technology.
The partnership supports national and Emirate-Level strategies to increase the adoption of private missions, improve digital city infrastructure and reduce urban sprawl.
It also reflects Dubai’s growing investment in AI-driven infrastructure that streamlines the daily lives of citizens and supports business competitiveness.
