Dubai issues a new law to manage the engineering consulting sector and attracts world firms

Dubai will introduce a new law in the practice of developing engineering offices in the Migrate.

The law aims to promote Dubai’s Dubai-engineering, submitting in accordance with overseas levels, and strengthens their role in fishing international technology and investment.

New Dubai Engineering Act

It wants to verify the quality, clarity, and project performance during the Dubai as the Global Hub of engineering.

Under the new framework, no person or office may cause any engineering functions in Dubai without proper authorization.

These functions cover various fields including buildings, community, electricity, electronics, equipment, mining, coins, and local engineering, and local engineering, and local engineering.

Firms and individuals are denied to introduce themselves as an engineering consultancy offices without a valid trading license and registration of Dubai Municipality, which must specify the extent of the employee, subdivision, and technical staff.

Lexterized Electronic License and Division Program

Dubai Municipality, in consulting with the relevant authorities, will establish an integrated electronic system associated with Dubai platform for the announcement No. (13) of 2024.

Fitness, Registration and Fines

The law describes several categories of engineering offices, including:

• Local Companies established in Dubai
• Branches of UAE-based offices have at least three consecutive years of experience
• Branches of the external offices have a deciding ten time for information
• Integrated integration between local and external offices at least 10 years of experience

It also operates at the engineering offices and LED research firms registered for at least ten years.

The violation may result in the fines up to AED 100,000 ($ 27.230), with increased fees for the repetition of cases.

Additional steps include a period of time for one year, reducing division, removal from destruction, to the waiver of licenses, or withdrawal of certificates.

The parties involved may include written complaints within 30 days of notice. The Committee will decide within 30 days and release them within five working days.
