Dubai Duty Free Records Record $221m as perfume, gold and fashion rises

Dubai Duty Free has set a new sales record, reporting a peak revenue for the period of AED805.6m ($220.7m) in October 2025 – its eighth month on record in the top ten this year.
Total October surpasses the previous record of AED692M ($189m) reached in October 2023, marking an increase of 20,31 years in a year of 19,31 years.
The highest ever AED821.4M ($225m) is set for December 2024.
Dubai Duty Free Sales
According to Dubai Duty Free, the operation in October exceeded the growth of passengers by 10 percent, with the last statistics of the appropriate traffic after this month from the airport of Dubai.
Ramesh Cidambi, managing director of Dubai Duty Free, said that the milestone shows the effort of another group and the support of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeeeed Al Maktoum, the chairman of Dubai Duty Free, to continue to grow.
Annual sales, Dubai Duty Free sales reached AED6.88bn ($1.885NN) – An increase of AED552M ($151M) or 8.72 percent or 8.72 percent more than the same year last year.
Perfumes and Gold Holy Sales Adid DIWALIDI
Perfumes remained in the best-selling category in October, generating AED139.9M ($38.3M). Gold ranked second at AED97.2M ($26.6m), buoyed by strong Diwali demand and the metal’s buoyant appeal among travelers.
Liquor contributed AED96.7M ($26.5m), while confectionery achieved its highest sales of AED78M ($21.4m), driven by the continued popularity of “Dubai Chocolate”.
This lower category alone generated AED34M ($9.3M) in sales, with 428,000 pieces sold, equivalent to 71 tons in nine days. Tobacco also performed strongly with AED74M ($20.3M) in sales.
Luxury Boutiques Outperform with 43.5 percent growth
Luxury fashion houses including Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior, Gucci, and Cartier recorded an increase of 43.5 years with 4 percent puitton and cartier stores in Cheptember AA MOVEREMBO.
The 280sqm Louis Vuitton store quickly became a premium travel destination, while the 140SQM Carrier Boutique made a strong case. Dukai Duty’s Rekamu Pre-owned Luxury Concept Store also reported AED2.2M ($605,000) in October, including sales of Audemars bags
Across the regions, Confuurse A LED with an increase of 27.4 percent, followed by Consourse C (21.9 percent), Confourse B (13.2 percent), and terminal 2 (13.1 percent), and terminal 2 (13.1 percent). Arrivals also posted an 18.3 percent increase despite competitive conditions.
Global Sales Performance
Sales of passenger cars bound for Africa, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, and Australia all rose by more than 20 percent. Russia recorded a growth of 14.2 percent, while Africa was up 18.5 percent. The Indian Subcontinent shows an average increase of 6.62 percent.
As Dubai Duty Free prepares to celebrate its 42nd anniversary on December 20, 2025 it marks another milestone year for the travel operator.
