Dubai Airshow 2025 presents as the biggest show in the world, with Evtol Debut, Mega Space Pavilion and 1,500 spectators

Dubai Airshow 2025 is set to open at Dubai World Central under Sheikh Mohamd bin Rashid Al Maktoum, ruler of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, marking the largest and most focused edition in the history of the event.
Bringing together global, defense, space and advanced travel leaders, the exhibition underscores the UAE’s desire to remain a world-class hub for technology and information.
Sheikh Mohammed said the Dubai Airshow reflects the forward-looking vision of the UAE and is earmarked for investment in Aviation, Space and Defense Innovation.

He pointed out that the event has become the world’s preferred platform for creating new solutions, strengthening relationships and supporting sustainable growth in all key sectors.
Sheikh Mohammed said: “Over the years, the Dubai Airshow has established itself as one of the world’s leading platforms, recording a growing opportunity and attracting major international companies and organizations.
“It has been the preferred place to awaken high-quality technology and technology, with an open lab of developing ideas pointing to the future of important industries.”
He added that the exhibition embodies the UAE’s commitment to building an integrated aviation system, supporting the knowledge economy and investing in science and technology to secure the future.
Sheikh Mohammed welcomed international experts, senior officials and decision makers from more than 115 countries for the exhibition.

Aircraft on display include the Joby Aviation evtol, General Atomiation CCA, Bristell B23 915 IFR, and the new additions Comac C919 and C929 – The largest flying display in the history of the airshow.
The space replaces the center
Organized by the UAE Space Agency, the largest pavilion ever brings together international space agencies, leading space-tech firms, start-ups, investors and researchers.
Dr Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports and Chairman of the UAE Space Agency, said: “The Dubai Airshow represents the world’s leading platform to showcase the incredible progress of the UAE.
“This is a direct result of our efforts to translate the goals of the National Space Council 2030 into reality, contributing to the creation of a broad and sustainable space economy.”
He added that the broad participation of international countries emphasizes the growing confidence in the UAE’s natural ecosystem and its commitment to advanced technology and national talent.
The two-day Space Conference will convene Global experts, astronauts and industry leaders to discuss responsible space use, future travel and emerging technologies.
Evtols is flying at the Dubai Airshow for the first time
The short version of The 2025 Edition is EvTol’s first participation in a flying display. Commercial and commercial vertical aircraft, including Joby Aviation’s evtol, will demonstrate new capabilities in urban air travel.
Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi, director general of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, said the milestone reflects Dubai’s desire to lead in advanced air travel and sustainable regulatory frameworks.
Major General Mubarak Saeed Bin Ghafan Al Jabri, Managing Director of the Airshow Military Committee, said the event underscores the UAE’s commitment to seeking technology, investment in advanced technology and strengthening international relations.

Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, said the keynote tracks will bring together more than 450 leaders shaping the future of aviation, covering digital transformation, sustainable tourism and sustainable operations.
New places
Dubai Airshow 2025 features several new locations:
- An inspiration site for early stage founders and startups
- The Nextgen Leaders Program is a research program led by the University
- Wellness area for the guest experience
- Vista returns as a dedicated run-up
Sustainability plays a major role, with measures including the provision of sustainable aviation fuel, re-energized halls, eco-friendly ground support equipment and a better stand system that promotes the design of functional stands.
For the first time, the airShow will expand into the evening with an airshow after dark, night time sessions, live entertainment and a drone show. “Party on the “runway” event at Skydive Dubai will add you to the extended atmosphere.
Skyview, the community’s largest, will offer aerial performances, meet-and-greets, food trucks, entertainment and a new VIP viewing platform over five days of viewing.
