DNATA, Visa unveils special benefits for wealthy GCC travelers

DNATA has announced an exclusive partnership with visa to promote select resort and hotel offerings to potential high-end travelers in the Gulf.
Partner centers will be integrated with VISA’s Concierge and benefits platforms, acting as personalized channels and lifestyles for this customer segment.
The launch includes a new private Visa card designed for people with at least $1 million in assets invested or a monthly income of AED 100,000 or more.
Eligible cardholders will gain access to value-added experiences including promotions, preferential rates and bespoke experiences offered by selected hotel partners. Participating properties include Excunder’s Club Medi network of all resorts, Villa Le Coorail in Nha Trang, Vietnam, Seehof Davos in Switzerland, and 369 degrees of international hotels in France.
The partnership highlights a shift in how professional Gulf travelers learn about luxury experiences. Instead of using traditional online travel channels they now choose Concierge platforms for their financial institutions, proper privacy, trust and corresponding service.
“This partnership is about meaningful access, not just visibility,” said Rakhi Purohit, Dnata’s head of representation services. “Our hotel partners connect with a highly selective customer base in a loyal and exclusive environment. These guests don’t look – they expect seamless, premium service delivered right when they’re there.”
“Through DNATA’s representation services, Private Visa provides cardholders with the highest benefits for privacy and personalization of their preferences,” said Yuri Topunov, VP & Head of Mena products and solutions at VISA. “It’s about delivering a seamless, curated journey – all supported by Visa’s payment processing and global acceptance – that’s a lifestyle for GCC travelers while driving our travel partners.”
The platform will target destinations popular with Gulf travelers, including Europe, the Indian Ocean, and Southeast Asian markets that are consistently ranked among the top luxury destinations for the wealthy.
The cooperation also comes between the surgeries in the private sector on the other side of the gulf. The UAE has led the world in millionaires by 2023, according to Henley & Partner, while Saudi Arabia continues to position itself as a major investment destination.
For Dnata representation services, the collaboration is part of a broader effort to provide hotel partners with superior access points for premium travelers outside of traditional travel channels.
“Disa’s Concierge services are beginning to expand to cater to the new generation of luxury borrowers,” porohit added. “This is about elevating how and where you book – through curated, curated environments that reflect the expectations of high-end travelers.”
