The launch reinforces Changen’s growing investment in the Middle East as the brand continues to expand its gas-powered portfolio with Explusient-Distributer Al Tayer Motors. Priced from AED 129,900, the G318 comes with a vehicle warranty of six years or 150,000 KM and a battery warranty of eight years or 150,000.
The Future of Travel
For Changan, deep represents more than just a product line – it’s a structured approach to the type of movement that moves around the world. Speaking to Arabian business, Xiao Feng, General Manager of Chanan Automobile’s Middle East and Africa Division, said emphasizing the company’s long-term vision of efficient, clean, and accurate transportation. “The environmental strengthening of the long-term Chang MetomutoriaS Strategy, which brings decades of R & D Commitment with a clear commitment to Lavifisue production and intellectual mobility,” explained Xiao. “Emphasis, Changnal defines what it means now: cars that are clean, smart and designed to fit seamlessly into the world’s lifestyles.”
This philosophy underpins the G318, which includes a new generation of super-hybrid architecture, driver assistance systems with applications, and sustainability-driven engineering. Xiao added: “Deepal represents our desire to create cars that are safe, smart, emotional, and welcoming to customers everywhere.”
Why the UAE is the leading region of Pundal expansion
The UAE Debut of the G318 shows Chatnan’s confidence in the market being accepted as a global test of advanced mobility. “The Middle East is fast becoming a global hub for next-generation travel, and the UAE sits at the heart of this transition,” noted Xiao. He provides government support to provide electricity, extensive infrastructure, and a consumer base that seeks performance, design, and cutting-edge technology.
The success of the S05 and S07 at Emirates earlier this year confirmed the strong desire to approach the brand. “The UAE’s first acquisition of Electried Mobility makes it the perfect launch pad for one of the world’s largest SUVs,” he added. Ashok Khanna, CEO of Al Tayer Motors, echoed this vision at the launch, calling the G318 “a game changer for customers looking for adventure without compromising on environmental technology or cutting-edge technology.”
Engineered for GCC
Changnan has invested heavily in adapting deep models to the driving demands of the region – from scorching heat to desert terrain. Every model gets GCC’s heavy duty GCC endurance system. “The G318 was developed with exactly these conditions in mind,” Xiao said. “From anti-resistance components to software calibrations designed for heat, the car has been refined to ensure durability, safety and comfort in any situation.” This includes verification on sand, high gradients and fast highways, with a focus on cooling systems, battery management and battery performance and AC performance.
At the heart of the G318 is the deep Power-Huper-Hybrid PowerTrain, which combines the power of the Dual-motor 4WD with an extended electric drive to deliver a driving experience. The SUV accelerates from 0-100 km / h in 5.9 seconds and achieves a leading energy conversion rate of 3.63 kWh per liter of fuel. “Unlike conventional interest that focuses more on fuel economy, the G318 elevates efficiency while delivering powerful torque, refined control and intuitive power distribution,” Xiao explained. He describes it as a hybrid that “provides a superior experience in all senses.”
A carpet suspension system for the carpet, which combines the power of CDC flexibility, air suspension, and active ground scanning. Combined with the ET Intelligent Driving System, the G318 automatically changes the engine, suspension and different settings in real time – making off-road driving even for novices.
Modern design with user-centered intelligence
The exterior of the SUV adopts the juep ‘meteorolite cut’ design, pairing crisp geometric lines with a commanding profile. Inside, the minimalist cockpit is equipped with a large central control screen, premium materials and full cabinetry.
Intelligent features include bilingual interaction, Internet navigation, mobile remote control, and advanced safety systems such as integrated control experience, detection location change, and panoramic detection.
Xiao emphasizes that the technology is designed for everyday use: “Deepal’s philosophy puts the user at the center of all innovations. This combination of intelligence and functionality ensures that every journey feels smooth, very connected.”
Strength-driven
Sustainability remains at the core of G318 development. Xiao highlighted Changnan’s continuous transformation into cleaner construction: “Our Chongqing plant uses 207.76 million electricity in 2022 alone, reducing carbon emissions by 32,000 tons by 32,000 tons by 32,000 tons by 32,000 tons.”
The G318 features eco-friendly cabin materials and Golden Shield’s battery, which records automatic zero-degradation events for every 500,000 units in service.
Coexistence
The company’s partnership with Al Tayer Motors is a cornerstone of its regional strategy. “This partnership not only strengthens our market penetration, but elevates the customer experience from day one,” Xiao said. From showroom presence to After-Sales support, the goal is a seamless ownership experience that meets premium global standards.
According to Feng, the G318 will also include drivers “drivers who know how to test, technology and purposeful design” – from day riders from the coming days to the weekend.
He sees the G318 as the culmination of the brand’s long-term ambitions in the Middle East. “The G318 is more than a new model. It’s a sign of where travel in the Middle East is headed, and Deep will play a leading role in shaping that future.”
