Days of Our Lives: Stefano’s Will Drops a Shocking Bombshell – EJ’s Family Feud Flares Up!

Days of Our Lives reveals EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is organizing a family gathering to finally read the will of his late father Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). Already EJ expects things to get crazy when his siblings and the rest of the family gather to find out what they got in Phoenix.

It’s finally time for the family to hear Stefano’s last will and find out where the big money is going. There’s a lot to discuss about the upcoming DiMera drama. Let’s go in!

When Will the Reading of the Will Happen in Days of Our Lives?

We do not know the exact date of the probate. But it looks like it will happen in April. But in reality it may be close to sweeping. We’ll talk about that in a minute. So EJ seems pretty sure he knows everything his dad put in his last will and testament. And he said that Stefano asked him to write a will. So, since he wrote, you know, EJ thinks he knows what’s in there. But perhaps he did not see the final version of Stefano’s will.

His father was gone for years. And it was recently that Dr. Rolf (Richard Wharton) reveals to EJ that his father died before Rolf returned to Stefano because he was sick and that’s why Rolf has the Phoenix ring which he hands to EJ. So there is a chance that Stefano made changes to the script while he was MIA all those years.

If you recall, EJ and her siblings, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), Chad DiMera, and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), were all shocked to discover that the bones they found in the crypt were that of their father, Stefano. It is obvious that they all suspected that their father was dead. But confirmation from Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) that it was Stefano put an end to any questions about his death.

How Stefano’s Bones Got There on DOOL

And do you remember hearing how the bones got there? It was when hired spy Liam Selejko (Hank Northrop) moved items into the crypt for abduction. Of course, he says he didn’t know there was a kidnapping, but Stefano’s bones came out of the sarcophagus and Liam panicked and buried them in the dirty part of the mausoleum. But even before all this, Stefano was thought to be dead because his body was never found and no one had seen him for many years.

So far, only EJ knows the story of his father’s last days, so Dr. Rolf told him in private when he gave EJ the ring from Stefano. And that’s when Rolf tells EJ that he was the one who brought Stefano’s remains to Salem to put in the crypt. That was after Rolf returned to find Stefano on the island and that he had been dead for a long time. He even went to Dr. Rolf to wake up Stefano for the 14th time.

Who Will Attend the Will on Dates?

So, it’s been a few months since EJ and his siblings heard that their father died. And while everyone was really sad, Kristen was the saddest. However, he was already unfocused because his brother Peter Blake had just died. So, Kristen was grieving two great losses. Tony and Chad had their own unique relationship with Stefano, but even EJ’s kids knew that Stefano wanted EJ to have the Phoenix ring. Stefano leaving that to EJ is a sure sign that he is the heir apparent. Perhaps because among his children, EJ is the most similar to Stefano.

So Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) makes arrangements for a reunion reading. And I wonder if EJ will invite Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson). He may risk his freedom to find out what is in Stefano’s will. If you remember, Megan left Salem using Rolf’s submarine to escape the crimes involving keeping Bo Brady, Marlena Evans, Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans), and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) imprisoned. So, we might not get a glimpse of Megan. But he could make phone calls as they used to do with the DiMeras out of town for board meetings and votes. And we couldn’t really hear them talking on the phone.

And of course, Tony may be back in town with his wife, Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley). And until recently, you know, Tony never wanted to do much with the family business. Until it was The Titan he took it. Tony then hires Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) to be the CEO. And then he got Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) to help him undermine the Kiriakis family to get them back. But we do know that Tony and Anna are enjoying those DiMera dollars that they eventually have enough of where they can go on all their globetrotting adventures.

Recast Chad Back on Days of Our Lives

So, I’m also wondering if Chad DiMera and his stepchildren Thomas Banks and Charlotte DiMera will return to Salem in time for school. It would be nice after a few months off screen if Chad fits in well as things improve in the mansion. Spoilers already suggest that Connor Floyd brings a completely different edge and a different vibe to Chad.

So, he may be very stubborn about wanting a piece of the DiMera pie for himself and his children. We will have a new Chad arriving in Salem on April 21st, right before the May Sweeps begin. Therefore, the probate may be delayed up to a few weeks from now. That might be the event that brings him back to town.

Will Lexie Be Awake in Days?

And we have to wonder if Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) will wake up in time to hear her late father’s will. Theo is supposed to see that his mother is alive this week, but she is not awake yet. And Lexie never wanted to do much with Stefano’s business. But Lexie would like to know if her son Theo was mentioned in his father’s will. So, we’ll see if Lexie is up and on her feet when EJ gathers the family to announce who gets what. And I am sure that you are confident that you will gain a lot, not only money, but also power.

Also, he plans to keep his son Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) running DiMera. And I suspect that EJ is counting on Lexie being alive as a way for EJ to help get Theo out of Johnny’s way because Theo must know that Lexie won’t react well if she wakes up and is in the CEO’s seat DiMera. I also wonder if there were clauses in the will about who Stefano wanted to run DiMera.

Also, there is the question of whether Johnny will appear at the reading of the will because he is soft on his father and decided not to return The Titan after scratching him. EJ just saved the discovery and now Johnny has turned on him because of this Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) copyright issue.

What Surprises Await DOOL?

So, all in all, we know very well who will be on the guest list. But, there may be surprises. And we wondered about the stupidity EJ warned his assistant Cat about. It’s a lot of great people in the room and a lot of tension about the ongoing DiMera drama Days of Our Lives.

Honestly, anything is possible, including, and I would love to see this, the undead Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) show. His death was suspicious and recent. And honestly, he may have been the one who took out Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) before EJ’s hitman got there to take care of her. So, we could see Stefan coming out of hiding to compete with the will and win his wife Gabi or Stefan might want a change episode.

EJ Shocked In Days Of Our Lives

And I really think EJ will be surprised by what comes out of the reading. Mostly, I suspect this because EJ sure knows what it’s about, but he hasn’t seen the last of Stefano for a long time. So, I’m looking forward to seeing how chaotic the inheritance will be.

And the look on EJ’s face when it turns out that Stefano really changed things. Or, you never know, maybe Madame Vivian might have pulled off another pretty good trick before she was kicked out or ran away. So, we’ll see.
