Days of Our Lives SHOCKING: EJ After Vivian & Ivan Disappear – Was It A Kidnapping?

Days of Our Lives introduces EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) reluctantly released by the police department when they didn’t have enough evidence to prove he pulled off a kidnapping in Salem. And District Attorney Belle Brady (Martha Madison) Black was so angry that she had to let her ex go and couldn’t prosecute him.

But did EJ pull off another spectacular kidnapping in Alamania when Belle and the Salem PD were out of control? And it seems that Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) and her supporters are missing and the trail may lead back to EJ.

Vivian and Ivan Disappeared from Days of Our Lives

We have seen recently Days of Our Lives episodes Andrew Donovan (Colton Little) recently sent big news to Dimitri von Leuschner DiMera (Peter Porte) and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) about Vivian and her trusted sidekick Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera). Andrew said they just disappeared.

They had to go to the cemetery and leave. And if you remember, Leo was wearing a wig and he was where they were supposed to be. So all this makes it look like foul play.

But I feel like Leo in that wig and coat, it reminded me of Harry Potter movies where children thought that Boggarts would look like different people and there was this Professor Snape in a costume. That’s exactly what Leo looked like to me.

Anyway, so when EJ is in the interrogation room making a nasty phone call to Rita instead of calling a lawyer, you know, EJ might have had a very good reason for that because he might have something to hide than his secret lab tests he was doing on his sister Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford).

Did Elvis Jr.’s phone call with Rita confirm that Vivian and Yvonne were successfully abducted from Alamania and dumped somewhere in the DiMera compound?

EJ Has A Lot Of Captivating Places To Play On DOOL

You know, EJ has a lot of plates spinning right now. Belle told him about the kidnapping of Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark). And indeed, EJ did not know that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) had hired Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey).

But what Belle does know is that EJ found out that Rolf saw Stephanie and Jeremy in the last room. And EJ even told Rolf that they basically need to be dumped because he can’t let anyone know about Lexie yet and he can’t risk the research.

And now, of course, EJ’s lab is under more scrutiny because Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) found an empty human pod that until recently was Lexie’s last resting place. Also, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) has been trying to stay one step ahead of Dimitri, you know, trying to keep him in the dark about the kidnapping she and EJ pulled off.

So, with Vivian and Ivan revealing that they aren’t missing either, this could be the third kidnapping related to EJ. I mean, technically four if you count her kidnapping because there was Dimitri and then DiMera and then Stephanie and Jeremy and now we have Ivan and Madam Vivian.

Days of Our Lives: Leo helped Dimitri

And if you remember, Leo helped Dimitri escape to Alamania and prove that he wasn’t working with Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier). And Dimitri has always denied that he was involved in the kidnapping of the DiMeras.

But Vivian and Gwen plant evidence that appears to be a CCTV video feed from the crypt to Dimitri’s tablet which they plant in Vivian’s bedroom and some of his belongings.

And Madam Vivian said that Dimitri is an unwanted guest. But he kept insisting that he was arrested somewhere else and that he was also kidnapped. Then we had Ivan trying to poison Leo and Dimitri and we might as well have hired a sniper to shoot them.

You know, that depends on the whole Gwen and Vivian thing. So, thankfully, senior ISA agent Andrew stopped the unknown killer from killing Leo and Dimitri. However, Andrew had bad news to deliver.

Dimitri Still Looks Guilty For Days

The ISA went to the house where Dimitri was found Zillow when he said he was arrested. But Gwen had warned the Alamanni and cleaned up the mess. Someone came in and just poured into the house. But Andrew said they found DNA samples and fingerprints that matched Dimitri.

But both Andrew and Dimitri know that is not enough to prove that Dimitri was imprisoned there, that he was there at one time. And Andrew said that with Vivian and Ivan missing and foul play suspected, the ISA and local police suspected Dimitri of the crime.

So, back to the first scene of Leo and Dimitri because they got to prove that he had nothing to do with the kidnapping of EJ and his siblings and nephew. And now Vivian and Ivan. And Dimitri is determined.

He wants to prove that Gwen is responsible for his kidnapping. And now he also has to prove who is behind the kidnapping of Vivian and Ivan. Because he can go down because of that.

Did EJ Have Rita Kidnap Vivian And Ivan On Days Of Our Lives?

So, since Leo and Dimitri see the reptiles around Vivian’s house a few times and Leo at the cemetery, they are the obvious culprits. But I suspect that since EJ and Gwen did the hard work of keeping Dimitri hidden for a year in Alamania, they probably had local contacts that EJ could use to recruit to capture Vivian and Ivan.

I don’t think Gwen is involved in this kidnapping. Because he has been plotting with Vivian. So EJ might be going after his partner in crime, Gwen. You know, EJ wants revenge on Vivian for her role in her family’s kidnapping and organized murder. Obviously, you’re holding a grudge for a very good reason.

And Gwen’s plans to get revenge on Dimitri also made things difficult for EJ because he ruined the funding for Rolf’s secret lab. EJ is not happy that Gwen pulled this hat that made it difficult for her sister Lexie to wake up. And Gwen couldn’t help herself. He wanted to make Leo feel sad. And now Gwen is almost broke. And EJ might be thinking of strangling him, honestly.

Days of Our Lives: Rita’s Beyond Loyal to the DiMeras

And it really helps Vivian when EJ makes Rita arrange to kidnap her and Ivan. Rita, if you remember, you kill me. He is very beautiful. He has been helping the DiMeras out of situations since the days of Stefano DiMera (Joe Mascolo). She is very good at handling EJ’s sensitive duties and there is no limit, nothing that Rita won’t go through for the DiMera’s. Kind of scary.

And it makes sense that he would agree to help EJ get Vivian and Ivan out of the way. Also, Rita has undying loyalty to EJ and the DiMeras. And I think they would happily punish anyone who tried to hurt them. So maybe it’s neck deep in this one. Rita always supports the EJ program. He yells at her all the time.

You know, he’s her trusted advisor and she’s working on every secret and sweet DiMera thing going on. He even helped EJ convince Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) to help DiMera while Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) recovered from the brain damage he suffered during the kidnapping.

And you know, it was kind of funny, too. Because Theo told JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) he hopes another kidnapping won’t happen in Salem for a long time. A little illustration there. You know, they’re not very subtle.

Vivian and Ivan May Be in the DiMera Crypt on DOOL

Even if Vivian and Ivan are taken from Alamania, I think they will be in Salem maybe in the DiMera tunnel or a very bad move. Rita may have stuck them in the DiMera crypt right in EJ’s backyard. And Rita may have shut it down, using the excuse that it was too traumatic for the DiMera’s to go in there after their kidnapping ordeal.

And since Vivian helped conspire with Peter to trap EJ and the others there to kill them with Sarin gas, I think it would be karma if Vivian is now stuck there with Yvonne. It’s not exactly the lap of luxury. But I have to say, I love EJ bad. I don’t know about you all. But her little dimples do it for me, or they do it badly.
