Looking Back: Xander and Gwen’s Burning Romance on Days of Our Lives
This time they sent me big news about Xander and Gwen. The two have been hot and cold, on and off for several years. Xander and Gwen conspired together, formed a friendship when the world was against them, and in 2022, Xander almost married Gwen. But in reality Days of Our Lives style, Xander and Gwen’s relationship broke up at the altar.
A wedding bombing, which is very common in Salem, causes a chain of events that lead Xander to return to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). And of course, Gwen has been very jealous of Sara for years, which led to some really bad things with Gwen and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) conspiring with Sarah, and it was messy.

So, everything has changed now, however. The ink is hardly dry on Xander and Sarah’s divorce papers. Xander is depressed and lonely, and he’s still working on becoming a better man. But he is also jealous and upset that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) lives in the same house as Sarah, and that will start a whole series of events. Xander knows 100% that Brady wants to be with Sarah. At the same time, Gwen still has her eyes on Xander.
She spent time with him on Thanksgiving when Xander was alone and isolated from everyone except his brother, Philip. In the winter show, Gwen kisses Xander and throws him on her bed, and Gwen rides him like a hot Scottish pine. When Gwen first moved into Salem because of her dirty deal with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), we saw Gwen get into a drunken fight with Xander back in her room Salem Inn. And Gwen got a hot kiss. But before he could get his hands under his kit, Xander hit the brakes and got honest with Gwen.
Xander made it clear that he still loves Sarah and wants her back. But things took a turn for the worse, especially when Gwen told Sarah that she was getting under his control. But now that Xander and Sarah are officially and legally divorced and Xander has cut Xander out of his and Victoria’s lives completely, things are wide open for Gwen to re-enter. And you will do it.

At the same time, she’s keeping some juicy secrets and Xander finds out that she’s hiding something. But even with Gwen’s secret dipping, when Xander finds out that things are progressing with Sarah and Brady Black, not only is Xander stupidly jealous, but he may look to Gwen for comfort, distraction, and maybe a warm bed to crawl into when he’s jealous and, terrifyingly, very upset.
As you know, Gwen is very similar to Xander, but I don’t think they are good for each other. I don’t think they bring out the best in each other, more like the worst. Gwen is a mastermind and Xander knows it. He used to be a strategist, but he’s better for it. And we already know that Gwen is invested in EJ’s shady science project.
So, it looks like Gwen is finding out more about the identity of Dr.’s tube persona. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) soon. Not only that, but we know that Gwen and EJ disappeared her cheating husband, Dimitri von Leuschner DiMera (Peter Porte). But Gwen will bring him back and use him to get revenge on Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) soon.
Shocking Days of Our Lives New Leak: Gwen’s Secret Stuns Xander
So now let’s talk more about leaks. Gwen Rizczech’s biggest secret is revealed by Xander and she freaks out. I mean, really at this point, Gwen is sitting on a lot of secrets that would shock Xander. So, it could be about Gwen kidnapping her own husband, putting Dimitri on ice and holding him, then bringing him back for revenge. Or it could be about helping EJ wake up this mystery pod person, who might be DiMera, because of his big oil check book.
And frankly, it can be even more bitter. You know, maybe Gwen had a baby sometime after she left Salem. Now, the time is not right for Xander to have children, as they last slept together in February 2023, and he was on the screen for a year. He left in October 2023, heading to Alamania to try to find one of Dimitri’s inheritances.
So, there is no room for her to get Xander pregnant. But it’s possible that Gwen got pregnant by Dimitri because they were having sex when he was having sex with Leo. It’s possible that Gwen took them to Alamania and that’s how she got all those big bucks, and she got the kid safely hidden away.

The writer told us that Xander suspects that Gwen has a secret. And Xander is sure he knows what Gwen is hiding. However, the secret that Xander discovers that Gwen is hiding is something completely different from what he suspected. And when he discovers this big secret about Gwen, he is surprised. Therefore, it is a worse thing than he can imagine.
Maybe Xander suspects that Gwen has something to do with the secret lab and what EJ is doing at the hospital because Gwen lives in the mansion. Seen with EJ. Or maybe Xander suspects that Gwen has been secretly chatting with EJ. Then he finds out that it was Gwen’s money that brought the hospital out from under Xander.
Because you remember, he was upset that EJ got the deal and he didn’t. It was Xander’s arrest for assaulting Philip that turned the hospital board against him because it happened right when they voted. That allows EJ to come in and get a buyout even though most people didn’t want DiMera to come in. University Hospital.

And of course, Philip refused to press charges and Xander was acquitted. But that was until it was time to vote. And as we know, he really hit Philip, and the attack and lying about it is what ruined his marriage to Sarah. So, Xander might be really upset if he returns to Gwen’s bed and finds out that she and EJ conspired to get the hospital deal from him. By the time Xander discovers the secret, he may be back in the deep end with Gwen. But we know that his heart belongs to Sarah.
Future Prediction: Xander, Sarah, and Brady’s Romantic Shake-Up in 2026
The insider said Xander will be spending a lot of time at the DiMera mansion during Gwen and Xander’s new show. We know Gwen wants him back. He is crazy about her. He might get a chance to get Xander back in his bed, but not in his heart. But when he found out that Brady did the deed.
This is when Xander starts to get his revenge and get romantically involved with Gwen. By the way, the leaker also told us that Sarah and Brady are breaking up in the spring of 2026. They will be a couple. They will be doing everything, sleeping together, all that. But then he proposes to Sara, and that’s when he realizes that Brady isn’t the one for him.
