Days of Our Lives: Is Liam Deliberately Setting Jeremy Up to Take the Fall?

Days of Our Lives reveals Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) plans to leave Salem soon, but something will ruin his plans to get out. It could be another detective scene, and now I’m wondering if Liam Selejko (Hank Northrop) is guilty and doing a sketchy kind of frame work on him.

I want to dive into what kept Jeremy from being allowed to leave Salem when he really wanted to and if Liam is guilty because he is a criminal for hire. We have a lot to cover.

Liam Selejko’s Criminal Gigs and Stephanie Johnson’s Stalker Link on Days of Our Lives

Small-time criminal Liam collects crime gigs. I don’t know if there is an app like Crooks R Us or TaskRabbit for criminals, but not only did the guy that Abe Carver (James Reynolds) was advising take money from Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier) to help Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) follower Klaus to move those goods to the crypt, but the question is: Klein) follower?

Liam apparently does whatever it takes, including criminal activity, to put food on the table for his young son, Gage Selejko (Jack Ferrero). We know that Liam was involved with Vivian’s goon, Klaus, because he explained to the police. Liam just dropped those details because the police tracked down Peter’s money and he wanted out of jail.

We all know that Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey) is the stalker who plans to take Stephanie. That was confirmed back in the winter promotion. But there also seem to be signs that Owen might be up to a conspiracy or at least have someone do the dirty work for him.

The Mystery of the Black Hoodie in Horton Square on DOOL

Now, one option is that it really is Jeremy, but I feel like it’s not because of the frame work. We haven’t seen for sure who was in that black hoodie taking the video of Stephanie and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) in Horton Square. That would be a job made for hire by Liam.

It would make sense to hire someone to take pictures of Stephanie and Alex who will not be overlooked. Liam is a familiar figure in Salem, unlike Owen, who has been lost since escaping the prison transport twenty years ago. Days of Our Lives. People will recognize Owen, but they usually see Liam.

There is still a lot we don’t know about Liam except that he has been in and out of prison for various crimes. Many years ago, when he was in high school, he bullied Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson). Liam’s unusual last name, Selejko, connects him to Salem’s old sketchy people. Some of them were criminals.

Abe Carver’s Mentorship and Liam Selejko’s Desperate Motives in Dates

Theo was upset when his father, Abe, said he would be advising Liam on the literacy program as part of his court-ordered rehabilitation. Liam told Abe that he is trying to turn his life around. But at the same time, Liam is a single father who has to put food on the table to keep his child on medication, food, and school supplies.

He will take easy money wherever he is, and his only skills seem to be crime. Liam tried to steal Cat Greene’s (AnnaLynne McCord) purse last year, then took money from Klaus using Peter. He then told the police that he did not know there would be hostages in the crypt.

Liam says he thought he was basically doing some kind of prepper thing. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is furious because Vivian was the mastermind behind their kidnapping and he seems to be having trouble because Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) is trying to frame Dimitri von Leuschner DiMera (Peter Porte). If EJ can’t punish Vivian, he might as well go straight to Liam. EJ wants the people involved in this to pay for trying to kill the DiMeras.

The potential dangers of Liam Selejko from DiMera Family and Beyond

Peter is dead and Vivian is nowhere to be found right now, but Liam is there in Salem. Meanwhile, Liam might have someone else ready to take him down. Yvonne and Klaus from Alamainia this week talk about tying up loose ends to keep Madame Vivian safe for her role in the DiMera kidnapping.

They might assess what needs to be done, and the two might decide that Liam needs to leave so he can’t continue talking to the police. Meanwhile, we can find out that Liam has been working with Owen.

Remember when Abe didn’t have time to tutor Liam? I think it was when Theo was kidnapped or in the hospital. Abe asked Jeremy to fill in for him. Jeremy appeared in Liam’s study and brought his laptop for Liam to use to reboot.

Days of Our Lives: Did Liam Selejko Plant Evidence on Jeremy Horton’s Laptop?

Jeremy’s kindness could be rewarded with treachery. Liam was on Jeremy’s computer, so he could plant evidence on the laptop to make Jeremy the scapegoat. This will ensure that people will not know that Liam is the real culprit.

Jeremy was in the dark as to why they thought he owned a website dedicated to stalking Stephanie. Liam could have credit card information from Owen and take that opportunity to use Jeremy’s computer. Liam may have been tasked with buying a URL from someone’s laptop.

Maybe he got lucky with Jeremy, or maybe he had targeted him directly. By now, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu), Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans), Stephanie, and her new husband, Alex, were all 100% convinced that Jeremy was a vigilante.

Jeremy Horton Seeks Innocence Despite His Toxic Time on DOOL

Jeremy insists he is innocent and thinks someone is setting him up, but only Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) believes him. It’s possible that Liam is taking money from Owen to lay this foundation so that Owen can fly under the radar. If Liam helped set Jeremy up, I’m sure Liam knows he’s doing something bad.

Now, Julie believes in Jeremy, but his judicial record is not perfect. He believed in the best of Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer), and that turned out badly. Julie also got attached to Nick Fallon (Blake Berris), who was very bad.

Jeremy says that even though he and Stephanie had a toxic relationship, he has changed. Jeremy went on to get his teaching degree and seems to be well respected in the primary school. Despite the allegations of Jada Hunter, Stephanie, Alex, and Steve, there is no hard evidence against Jeremy.

Is Stephanie Johnson’s Ego Clouding Her Judgment on Dates?

They judge him by his past many years ago when he and Stephanie had a troubled relationship. Jeremy is guilty of what he did then, but that was a long time ago. When he first returned to Salem, he begged Stephanie to apologize.

Since then, he suddenly thought that Jeremy was doing nothing and had stalked him again. I think there is an ego around him to think that Jeremy is still weird to him after all this time.

Stephanie even thinks that Jeremy is hacking a dating app in Salem to get a date with his friend Jada. That seems like a big reach. Now that Stephanie and Alex are newlyweds, a fan has that bug in the picture frame. You are probably listening to them celebrating becoming husband and wife and the honeymoon.

Owen Kent’s plan to kidnap Stephanie escalates

It’s surprising, but Owen is a fan after all, and he’s the one who once fixed Stephanie. His marriage to Alex may force Owen to expand his plan of action. We know he’s going to kidnap Stephanie.

Owen might have been planning to kidnap her before they ran away, but they sneaked in and tied the knot. We could see Stephanie being raptured quickly. When he is taken, Alex beats Jeremy, blaming him.

We know that Stephanie was taken to the hospital. Then in the park, Steve catches a guy wearing a black hoodie, expecting him to hold Jeremy hostage. But Owen Kent—a blast from the past that no one expected.

The Final Twist and Jeremy Horton’s Delayed Exit from Salem on Days of Our Lives

Finally, we can find out that Liam was helping Owen stop Jeremy. Michael Roark’s deadline for Jeremy isn’t until the end of April, so he can still pack his bags, but he hasn’t left Salem yet. I’m expecting another leading event pointing back to Jeremy, who has SPD that wants him to stay in Salem and not leave.
