Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Encore Episode – Joey & Vanessa in Puerto Rico

On Monday, February 16, we do not have a new episode Beyond the Gates. Since they are a new soap, I think they use every holiday so they can justify not running a new episode because they don’t lag behind like other shows do. So, we’re going to do it again because it’s President’s Day.

This is a repeat of the episode where Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) and Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) went to Puerto Rico and Vanessa ended up spending the night in Joey’s arms all night, in addition to having sex near the casino. He actually took off his wedding ring at Joey’s request, if you remember. Also, this is the same episode where Joey lures Vanessa out of town so Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy) can oversee the death of Dr. Doug McBride (Jason Graham).

First, they get Doug drunk at the casino. They tell Joey to tell his boy to put the odds on Doug so he can keep gambling and win because he thinks he’s busy. Marcel then takes his winnings and makes sure Doug dies in what looks like a DUI death. Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) was very affected in this episode because she realized that she lost her wedding rings. Turns out he took himself out of the bathroom Orphe Jeans, and June (Jasmine Burke) finds them and brings them back.

This is also the same episode where Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin) proposed to Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) in his apartment after she proposed to Derek at the hospital. He pulled out the ring, threw it away, stood up, then panicked and sat down when Ashley came back because he was still lying about his disability this time.

Tuesday, February 17, we have a brand new episode. It’s season 2, episode 32, and this is Valentine’s Day Beyond the Gates. We have tons of action for all your favorite couples in the DMV. People celebrate in many different ways. We’re going to say that Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) meets an unlikely enemy. This could be about cancer, about Hayley, or that annoying reporter yelling at Dani about her age.

Anita sings a love song to Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis). Remember, Anita wants to make the most of every vacation and every moment because she is trying to be realistic about the fact that she may not come out on the other side of this cancer battle. Hayley finally gets what she wants. Is it a vacation home? All the attention for Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett)? A chance to feed Bill Bill again? Are you disturbed by Dani? Maybe a lot of them.

Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) has a special gift for Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning), but it doesn’t work the way he wants it to. In fact, it goes completely back to Martin. Joey lets Vanessa take the wheel. It looks like Joey says Vanessa can totally control their Valentine’s Day date. I wonder if he will come up with moving boxes. Vanessa is determined to stay with Joey, and at some point, I think she’ll take him down as long as she doesn’t find out that Joey killed Doug.

Wednesday, February 18th Season 2, Episode 33 of Beyond the Gatesand we have Tomas “Tom” Navarro (Alex Alegria) asking Hayley angry questions. If you remember, Bill Hamilton chewed out Carolyn Navarro and Tomas because he was upset that Hayley was doing a job that is usually done by messengers. But he is not aware of this because Thomas and Carolyn know that the folder was on the desk and the sender was already arranged.

There was no reason for Hayley to take Lynette Wise’s (Domini Madison) file and decide to hand deliver the documents. Hayley knows it’s not a routine in the office; you’ve been a law enforcement officer long enough to know that messengers handle these things. But Hayley may turn and cry to Bill, saying that Thomas was roasting her when she was not feeling well. Hayley is a tricky little beast.

Bill calls Joey asking for a favor. He tells Joey, “This is not for the Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) family. This is for me.” I suspect that Bill wants Joey to find the thug who brutally attacked Hayley and took her engagement ring. I can’t wait to see if Joey figures it out and takes Hayley out. In addition, Dani digs and wants to find out that Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) is more than Dr. Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) and how Nicole feels about the other two men in her bed: Dr. Kyle Rollins (Greg Vaughn) and Dr. Carlton Fitzgerald (Robert Christopher Riley).

Undercover Missions and Anita’s Health Crisis at the Club

Thursday, February 19th Season 2, Episode 34. Police chief Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik) wants Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) to understand how bad it is to hide. Jacob insists to his father, Eloni, that he is not asking for praise, and Eloni asks, “So, what do you want?” Jacob gets angry and says he wants respect. This week, Jacob tells Naomi that he has to go out and may not hear from her for a while. This is all part of Jacob’s undercover work on the Impaler and the red market plasma ring targeting the homeless.

Hayley surprises Naomi. Maybe he behaves well to his stepmother after being spanked. Meanwhile, Lynette has a few conflicts. I wonder if Bill will chew out the new Lynette because she is close to him. Bill knows Lynette is a con woman and thinks she’s taking advantage of Hayley, which is ironic.

Anita is at a club with Vernon and the evil Dana “Leslie” Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) is there. Leslie ruins their lunch, and Anita collapses. Anita Dupree nearly fell over Leslie’s table, and that set tongues wagging at Fairmont Crest.

Rumors Spread and Hayley and Lynette’s Dangerous Fate on Beyond the Gates

Friday, February 20th Season 2, Episode 35. Starting with Leslie’s incident at the club, Anastasia (Timeca M. Seretti) runs her mouth and spreads rumors. So, Anita will have to come out in front of it and she may announce that yes, she has cancer.

Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla) doesn’t want Madison Montgomery (Kenjah McNeil) to end her relationship. Chelsea is worried about falling apart if her future wife gives up on this dream. In case you haven’t noticed, Grayson Perez’s (Jordie Vilasuso) mother has Parkinson’s, and that’s Madison’s relationship lab. We can get some story line overlap there.

Nicole and Samantha Richardson (Najah Jackson) have a problem, and Vanessa has a proposal. Finally, Joey is there to watch Hayley and Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) skate in front of Bill. Randy tells Lynette this week that if he goes down, he will take Lynette and Hayley down with him.
