A new student
When I got back into reading, I fell in love with eBooks and getting free copies from the library to read on my Libby app. That same year, on my birthday, I held kinde for a variety of different people, and I never looked back. Whether they’re a new reader looking for a better or closer look at how to save their books, Reader makes for a great solution (and you can still get those free library books from it!).
Amazon
Kindle Paperwhite (2024, 12th generation)
If they don’t have a hard time, the 12th-edition paper is our favorite. It has a warm front light and great battery life, and it comes in a nice pink color. Upgrade signing to automatically shine and save more (AKA more books!).
Kobo
The color of Libra
If they have an e-reader but want the option to use color, the Kobo Libra color is the best option. It allows them to use different colors as they read, and you can add in a stylus to turn it into a digital book. It has page turning buttons, which is nice and something you won’t find on a Kindle.
e-Reader Accessories
From cute cases to functional strips that make reading easy, there’s no shortage of fun options to add to your home or other readers.
Popsockets
Popset Kindle and PopGip
Popsockets have a new collection of Kindle cases with a magsafe ring, so you can easily fit into the grip of the popsocket. Limited design and Good Book Design have a similar case and hold that you can use together.

IE-Reader Hand Crap
These straps from Strapsecle make it very easy to hold a student. It’s easy to attach, and I find using just one of these two spacers protects you. The limited edition neon collection is super fun and worth buying before it’s gone.
A quirky mug
e-Reader sleeves
This stylish bag is a great gift for the e-Reader user who likes to take their device on the go. It will keep you protected without taking up too much space.
Lamcall
Gooseneck iPad holder
I struggle with a Wrist Cyst that makes holding my pitches for long periods of time uncomfortable. This tablet holder works well for tablets and e-readers alike, and allows my book to travel on my head.
Accessories for virtual book readers
No e-student? No problem. These book lights solve the constant struggle of the book reader: darkness finds its way into their reading.
Vekkia
14 LED Book Light
Our favorite reading lamp is a flexible clip with a flexible gooseneck. Two bright bars with seven calendars are that.
Intabausent
LED neck reading light
This simple neck light is a great option if your reader would hate to dive into something on the page. It has three types of warmth and six brightness settings.
Book bags
If the Lover in Your Life book is known to get a reader or book of choice everywhere it goes, here are some fun accessories to carry around (to include their thoughts as they read!).
Hello Clio
Original Belt Bag
This cute belt bag isn’t much wider than normal but packs in a soft inner pocket designed to carry a Kindle Paperwhite or Base Kindle.
New York Public Library
Library Card Tote Bag
This tote bag screams “I love books” in the best way. Large size with nice, long straps that make it very comfortable to wear.
Stickers, journals and annotation tools
Whether they want to decorate their reader or the pages of their books, there is a fun addition here for every type of reader.

Sweet stickers
Strapless has recently launched stickers, both in a sweet and scented package. A good size set that can easily decorate e-readers.
Papier
Journal Reading
If they’re always crushing on a new read, get a journal to track everything they’ve read and how they like it.
Books Tabs
I don’t like basic colors when I put my books. This is a similar but larger pack of book tabs that I found at my local daiso, and the pastel colors are so pleasing to the eye as I mark my book pages.
The setting of the Passion
FREE EXCHANGERS
I love these sit-down quotes for my paper, and they’re a great way for bright students to highlight their passages. There is a highlighter and the end of the pen in each color if they like to emphasize.
Reading the vibes
Gifts for your local book lover aren’t just about giving books and book items. Help them set the mood while reading with these cozy gift ideas.
James wax
Time Candle Readings
The label says it all. Give them a candle to shepherd everyone who is busy studying. I tried all four scents to choose from, and my favorites are the mimosa and white tea scents.
It’s a phone call
Wh-1000xm6
Help them block out the world while reading (or participate in immersion reading, where you listen to an audiobook while reading a physical book at the same time) with our favorite canceling headphones.

Give them a nice mug to stay hydrated with their beverage of choice while they study, whether it’s a nice cup of tea or a hot toddy.

A good electric kettle
They’ll need some hot water and those cups of tea, and this chic electric kettle is stylish and affordable without compromising on functionality.
Ugg
Neuman for men
Give the gift of happy, cool feet with our favorite set of men’s slippers. Our wired review says these boots hold up well and have a classic ugg front, with a low back that keeps them snug and snug.

Maybe they’ve been one Piece lovers for years. Maybe they are a new fan after seeing the Netflix series. You can start a collection of their active manga or even give away a few original factories to get your hands on the original.
Crescent City Boxed Set
If they have followers of A yard of thorns and rosesIt’s official: They’ll need to read Sarah J. Maas’ Another series, Crescent Cityrelevance to what is happening next Acotar a book. The first one is my favorite.
Judy Blume EFRISF (written set)
by Judy Blume
This is a great series of books to buy for a part-time student or young adult. The books have been uplifting, and Blume’s themes continue years later.
Book subscription
Buying a book from someone can be difficult if you’re not sure what they are or what they’ve already read. But covering a few months of subscription is a gift that keeps on giving.
Soundable
If you know someone who is struggling to sit down and read, give them an audio subscription so they can listen to books while driving, getting active, and more.
Book of the month
Cash that is issued periodically
The book of the month is written for the reader who loves physical books. Every month, there are five to seven titles to choose from that ship to their door (they can skip months if nothing catches their eye).
A servant
The first Sigred Editions of the club
Thread review Adrienne has therefore subscribed for years (on and off) to Parnassus signed First Editions, from the Novel Patchttet store in Nashville, Tennessee. Books are mostly reminiscent of texts, occasionally untrue. Every letter he received was a complete catch.
