A man stumbles upon buried gold while tidying his yard in France – nationally
Earlier this year, a man in France found $800,000 worth of gold while digging in his garden swimming pool.
The man, who lives in Neuville-Sur-Saône, near Lyon, informed his authorities of his discovery in May, according to French outlet Le Legres, reporting that he found five gold bars and several coins wrapped in plastic bags.
The Dion Dion Directorate of Cultural Activation was established to assess the treasure and determine whether there is any historical or architectural significance. If the gold was considered valuable, the Empire could collect its ownership, according to the French output.
Expert examination determined that it was between 15 and 20 years old and was officially discovered, which is thankfully confirmed by the unique tracking numbers engraved on each gold bar. Therefore, the owner of the house was allowed to keep the treasure.
The origin of the gold burial in the man’s yard remains a mystery; The previous owner is reported to have died, and it is not clear where he put it.

According to LE Legrective, France’s Cavil Code, which dates back to 1804, classifies wealth as “any thing hidden or buried where there is no chance.”
“Ownership of wealth belongs to the One who acquires their property,” the code says, according to the outlet.
The backyard gold discovery comes a month after speculators in Florida came up with $1,000,000 worth of gold coins and other valuables.
The group, which was part of the ship fraud committed by 1715 fleet-queens Jewels LLC, found more than 1,000 coins believed to be from the Spanish colonies of Bolivia, Peru and Mexico.
Many of the coins were poorly preserved under sand dunes, with dates and distinct mint marks still visible, linking them to a single chest or shipment lost in a storm in 1715.
A historic treasure chest was discovered by divers exploring a ship off southeast Florida.
