An Unrated, Highly Illustrated Thriller It’s Trying to Kill You But It Can’t

In 1978 Extraordinary Work a comedy of errors about a man who hires a bodyguard to kill him because he is too cowardly to kill himself. A slapstick effort written by Graham Chapman that’s funnier than the serious name suggests, and on the other hand, I get it. It’s basically the same gag repeated over and over again, with mixed results, if you’re a fan of the kind of irreverent humor that a Monty Python comedian can only deliver with a wink and a nod.
Playing on the same basis is 2014 The Suicide Theorywhich focuses on the same setup but with very different results (ie, it’s not a game). In The Suicide Theorywe are sent by a contract killer hired by a man who no longer wants to live. The problem is that he has tried to kill himself in the old college several times leading up to this point and he is convinced that he is invincible. Although both films depict the same type of contractual relationship where one man seeks to be released from his death coil, The Suicide Theory it’s really hard, it’s very focused on fate, free will, and how they’re always at odds.
Steven And Percival’s Deadly Dynamic

The Suicide Theory it wastes no time establishing its conflict when Steven (Steve Mouzakis) is followed by a desperate man named Percival (Leon Cain). Percival is looking worse for age, with scars on his face that show he wouldn’t be hiring a hitman if he hadn’t tried to die, and failed miserably, so many times. Uncertain even if Steven can successfully kill him, Percival offers a large sum of money and tells the killer that he doesn’t want to see it coming, and that since he believes he may be cursed, an attempt can only be made on his life if he looks legitimately happy.
Up to the challenge, but no one will believe Percival’s claims, Steven quickly shoots Percival in the chest three times as he makes the arrangement, only for the man to wake up hours later in the hospital without serious injuries. Percival is devastated when he learns that the doctors found a large tumor near one of the bullet wounds and were able to remove it while they were there, meaning the shot saved his life.

Intrigued by the project, Steven, who has lost his love for contract killing, keeps his promise and continues to look for new ways to make Percival, none of which work. Steven, who is afraid of crossing roads since his wife was hit by a car and died three years ago, can’t always chase Percival out of fear, but he doesn’t mind taking a taxi to help him cross the road if he needs to.
Prospective and Objective Assessment
As we know the two main players in the The Suicide Theoryit becomes clear that they are not so different. One man is a hardened, cold-hearted killer who has lost his love for the game, and the other is so damaged that even multiple suicide attempts can’t put him out of his misery.

It’s like he’s done something so bad in life that his cosmic punishment can’t do away with it at will. The two men became friends, if you could call it that, and found that they were meant to meet each other, as if destiny had been waiting for them. The reason their paths cross, when revealed at the end, is the kind of punch that will make you wish you were watching. Extraordinary Work rather, because it is a cruel way to spend your time.
The Suicide Theory It’s not an easy watch, but it’s rewarding. It’s an exploration of fate and destiny that reaches its worst possible conclusion, and it’s not without its dark humor. It’s not “haha” funny at any point, but every time Percival wakes up in the hospital wondering how he got out alive this time, you can’t help but play with a sad smile because he’s trying his best not to wake up again. Steven’s odyssey is about finding purpose; he wants to stop his gun forever, but he knows that this last job is important. But it is up to you, dear reader, to find out why.
