Mbappe scolds Real Madrid fans

Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe has criticized the club’s fans after their angry reaction to their home win against Levante on Saturday. Los Blancos ran out 2-0 winners at the Santiago Bernabeu, but the headlines focused on the loud whistles of many players and President Florentino Perez.
Speaking before the match between Real Madrid and AS Monaco in the Champions League, Mbappe told the media that if the fans are going to whistle at the players, they should beat them all. Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior and Fede Valverde, who are said to be at odds with former manager Xabi Alonso.
“Whistling… I think I understand it. I can hear it. Before I became a footballer, I was a young man, and when I was unhappy, I would talk bad about the players, and when I was on the field, I would blow the whistle. I understand it because we don’t do things the right way.”
“What I didn’t like is that if they are going to whistle, it should be the whole team. You shouldn’t choose one player. We are doing badly as a team, and we have an actor who can change this on the pitch. I don’t see Real Madrid fans against us. They are angry, and I am sure they will come back and support us.”
Real Madrid fans reaction to Vinicius
In particular, Vinicius is a target for the Bernabeu, with the last three home games seeing the Brazilian on the whistle.
“Yes, it’s not Vini’s fault. It’s the fault of the whole team. That’s all I have to say to the fans. Let them make fun of the whole team. We have to accept it, it’s our job. We know that. But we can’t single out a few and say it’s their fault. It’s everyone’s fault. At Real Madrid, there’s a moment like that.”
“I’m not Vini (laughs). If you want, I’ll find him (laughs). I don’t have to give advice. I’m not someone who can give advice. My only job is to take care of him, to protect him… If he’s happy, it’s different.”
Vinicius’ reaction to the Bernabeu whistle
In the tunnel, Vinicius was seen looking emotional because of the whistles from the crowd. Some reports have indicated that the Brazilian player may change his mind about signing a new contract with the club if the fans continue to want him.
“Vini, like you, like him, like everyone. He’s human. He’s an amazing player. He’s an incredible man, I’m lucky to know him and I love him a lot. We have to protect him better. So he’s not alone against everyone. He’s not alone in Real Madrid. We’re all with him. If he’s at the highest level, in the whole world.”

Puede rendir mejor o peor, pero en esta plantilla, es el que más siente escudoy de los que más lo ha defenderido siempre.

Bellingham’s reaction to fan whistles
Another early target was Bellingham, who until recent months had been a favorite of the Santiago Bernabeu.
“No one can doubt the quality of Bellingham. He has a lot of power. If he is fit he is one of the best players in the world. It is difficult for everyone. We can accept that the fans are not happy. But they should shout at everyone, it is not the fault of Jude or one player in particular. Our job is to change the situation. We won in the League and now we put the fans in the Champions League. In an effort to play well they will come back with us.”
Los Blancos are currently 7th in the Champions League, with two games remaining, but are only eighth on goal difference. On the other hand, Real Madrid are just three points behind second place Bayern Munich.
