The Young and the Restless Next Week: Jack Rages at Billy’s Betrayal! – Abbott Brothers War Ignites!

The Young and the Restless spoilers for next week show that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) completely loses it and is angry with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) for betraying the family and forming an alliance with people who are a serious threat to their future.
We will talk about Jack and Billy, this is a dangerous move made by Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) who may face backlash in their take on Newman. And now, let’s get into the latest Y&R spoilers for the week of January 19.
Nick Newman’s Risky Move to Protect Matt Clark on The Young and the Restless
Let’s start with Nick’s big accident before we touch on the Abbott drama. At the end of this week, Jack is stunned when Nick shows up on crutches at the door of the Abbott mansion. He tells Jack that he is here to save his family—to save the Newmans. Jack is surprised to see Nick coming out of the hospital, and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is there and he’s scared again.
Nick just had major surgery because Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) caused that car accident. Of course, Nick isn’t supposed to leave the hospital, but he is, and he’s determined to convince Jack to give Matt to him. Basically, Nick can’t rest until he knows Matt is safely locked up so he can’t hurt the family, Noah Newman (Lucas Adams), Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun), Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), or anyone else.
Jack tells Nick that’s what he was trying to negotiate with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Jack wanted to turn Matt into an AI. Then Jack convinces Nick to hold Matt in a very safe place, but that’s not enough for Nick. She wants Jack to hand her over. Jack tells Nick that unless Victor gives them the AI to destroy, he won’t give them Matt. That is their strength.
Jack and Kyle Face a Danger Warning on Y&R
Nick tells Jack that first of all, he doesn’t know where he’s getting in with Matt; the boy is really dangerous. And Nick also assures Jack that Jabot is not on Victor’s radar because there is a big problem going on at Newman because of the AI. Nick is worried that Matt will be free to go after the Newmans, and tells Jack that Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell), Jack’s grandson, Kyle’s son, could be in danger.
That bomb seems to be the one that gets Jack and Kyle’s attention. Jack says, “You know, Victor could have ended all of this, but he didn’t listen.” Kyle wants to take Nick back to the hospital because he looks bad. We know you’re taking painkillers in abundance. Nick then offers Jack the same deal he asked Victor.
Nick says that if Jack gives Matt to him, he will personally make sure that Jabot is safe and that Victor doesn’t understand them. In the end, Jack didn’t really want to keep Matt. Jack agrees to give Matt to Nick and Kyle supports it.
Noah Newman Gets Bound Matt Clark on Young and the Restless
Nick goes to Sharon’s house to get some rope and towels. Noah comes out and sees Matt passed out, bound and gagged in the boot of Nick’s car. Noah demands an explanation, and Nick says he won’t turn Matt over to the police. Nick is worried that Matt will end up a free man, escape, or somehow exonerate himself.
Noah wants to know exactly what Nick plans to do with Matt, and we’ll continue that action next week. Y&R spoilers tell Noah to continue confronting Nick and looking for answers. He tells his father that he is worried. What Noah and Nick don’t realize is that Sienna, Matt’s wife, is hiding and listening when Noah asks if Nick is going to kill Matt.
Next week, Nick tells Noah that Matt needs to disappear for good. Nick says no one will talk to him. I don’t think Matt will be let down that easily and quickly. And I expect he will attack Newman’s people again and maybe Abbott’s during the February sweep. It runs from January 29 to February 25.
I’d be surprised if they kill the main villain before the sweep starts. And, given the fact that Nick is in pain, on crutches, on drugs, and as hot and violent as can be, he’s in no physical condition to fight. Matt can take Nick down and run away.

Billy Abbott and Sally Spectra’s Chancellor Conflict on Y&R
Now, let’s talk about Abbott’s antics. At the end of this week, Billy has a heated conversation with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). He knows that Billy is keeping a lot of secrets, and he finally admits to Sally that he met Cane and promised to give it to him. Councillor. With Phyllis and Cane in charge Newman Enterprises, Billy can take the company back.
We all know that Billy is still upset that his mother, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), sold the Chancellor to Victor and still doesn’t get along with him. But Sally is upset because she and Billy just introduced Abbottcom. You wonder what you need Councillor for. He makes all these promises, but Sally doesn’t buy it. He feels ridiculous because he trusted Billy when he came down behind him.
Jack Abbott Blasts Billy Over Cane and the Phyllis Alliance
Sally thinks Billy is lying to her and to her. Billy insists that he hasn’t given Cane an answer yet. Sally understands why Cane wants revenge on Victor, but not why he says he’s going to give up Councillor to Billy. Also, Sally is also really worried that if Billy takes Chancellor, then Victor will turn and follow Billy again.
He tells Sally that Victor will follow her anyway, to find her Chancellor, which is what he wants. At the end of the week, Sally finally tells Billy if Cane says yes and takes Chancellor, he will not be happy. Looks like Sally might be ready to come out on top of this.
Jack Flips to Billy
It looks like Billy may have more to lose than Sally; he may also lose his big brother. The Young and the Restless spoilers confirm that Billy ends up arguing with Jack, and I’m sure that’s about it Councillor and about Cane. We’ll see Billy insist to Jack that he’s not using anyone, but Jack says, “Sure as hell it seems.”
It looks like Billy is telling Jack about the gift he got from Cane But it also looks like Jack has the same idea as Sally on this one. Jack is not happy about it at all. In his vision, Billy makes a deal with Cane, his AI that causes misery. Also, Jack doesn’t trust that Cane and Phyllis won’t turn on the AI Jabot when they have finished looting Newman Enterprises.
That means Billy stumbles upon people who may have attacked Jack and the other Abbotts. He won’t sit down for that. Speaking of those two, Y&R spoilers for next week Cane tells Phyllis that Newman Enterprises and all of its subsidiaries are largely owned by them. They just have to rip off the band-aid and take control of the company.
Victoria Newman Fights Back in Newman Takeover on The Young and the Restless
That’s when Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) arrives on the “cane train” and says, “Over his dead body.” Obviously, Victoria won’t give up without a fight. It seems that he will try to negotiate with Cane and Phyllis or somehow consult with them or talk them down. Victor has failed. Nick already failed.
I don’t know what Victoria would give to stop them. He may try to negotiate. He might try threats, maybe tell Cane that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will never forgive him. But I think Cane already knows that he won’t forgive him already. So, we’ll see if Victoria is able to throw a wrench in Cane and Phyllis’ plans. Be sure to check back for our full weekly video spoilers for the week of January 19th through the 23rd.
