General Hospital: Jack’s Twisted Betrayal – Tricking Carly into a Ruthless Long Con Scheme!

General Hospital places Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) playing Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) secretly working with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to destroy Jack. But is the WSB boss really playing Carly? He uses his cunning strategy. And he has for a long time.

Jack Brennan’s Fraudulent Recruitment of Josslyn to WSB on General Hospital

That’s right. So, right now we have Carly in cahoots with Valentin to put Jack behind bars and destroy him just because she wants to get Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) out of WSB. And Carly is upset because Jack hired Josslyn at WSB behind her back.

Of course, that was kind of a long con because Jack had Josslyn set up to sing and take down Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). He was feeding him a little information about Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and then about Cyrus. And when Jack put Josslyn in Cyrus’ path, he put Josslyn’s life in danger many times. Jack was trying. He was spying on Josslyn to see if she would kill Cyrus. And he did not disappoint. But he could kill himself, and he didn’t seem to care.

This was Josslyn’s revenge, of course, because Cyrus killed her boyfriend, Dex. And it was Jack’s test to see if Josslyn could be a ruthless and deadly WSB agent. So, all this time, Jack was lying to Carly’s face. This has been going on for months, even when she gives Jack a chance to reveal himself to Josslyn. But I’m pretty sure that Jack is probably putting Carly together and has been betraying her since the beginning.

GH Shocker: A Look Back at Jack’s Kidnapping Plot

If you remember from the time Brennan came to Port Charles, back when Charles Mesure was in the role, he was looking after Carly and it was always about the people he associated with, but especially Jason (Steve Burton) had Brennan’s best interest. If you remember, Jack was going to kidnap Carly, but Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) tied him up and held him with a kidnapping kit full of serial kits.

You know, zip ties, I think he had chloroform, he had all these things. He was sent to Pentonville but did not stay there long. Madly, madly, Carly forgives Jack for his kidnapping plan. And you know, that’s a big red flag. About as big a red flag as you can think of for a man. It’s pretty clear to see that Carly has been his target for a while, but I think Jack decided to play a long game of seduction and romance to please Carly.

Valentin Cassadine Reveals Jack’s Long Con and Ulterior Motives

Recently, Valentin was asking Carly how she got involved with Jack. and told Valentin about the evidence that Jagger Cates (Adam Harrington) of the FBI had on the RICO cases where he admitted at that mob meeting that he ran the Corinthos organization and that Jagger used it as leverage to get Jason to do his undercover operations. General Hospital.

Then Valentin shocked Carly when he said, “You know, Jack is probably the one who got you out of jail for getting rid of that RICO evidence that Jagger had.” Valentin also assured Carly that every time Jack saved her from a situation or did her a favor, it was for her own good. And Valentin thinks that Jack didn’t tell Carly to take care of the RICO evidence because he was waiting for a really good time to use that information.

So yeah, it looks like Jack has been playing Carly and using her all this time while betraying her and lying to her face and pretending to be her hero. And I think his long term goal might be Jason because we know Jack wants to put him on a WSB mission killing Black Ops. Who knows? Basically, Brennan wants Jason to do the WSB for himself, the same kind of stuff Jagger did for Jason at the FBI.

I’m also wondering, this just popped into my head, if that necklace Jack gave Carly is wrong or there is a sinister reason for it. Because when Jack gave it to him, he would ask him questions like, “Why aren’t you at work, where have you been?” And a really small necklace. It’s almost like a diamond pendant, but it can have a microphone on it. some kind of mini high-tech microphone or GPS tracking chip. Remember that Valentin was also looking at the necklace. I don’t think it’s big enough for the camera, but when I saw him handing this to him, this memory started.

Carly and Franco’s story on General Hospital

Remember when Franco gave Carly that evil eye necklace and it had a hidden camera inside? If you remember, Franco was using the evil eyeball camera to spy on Carly. She found out that he was cheating on her with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). And that’s how Franco found out that Sonny killed AJ Quartermaine (Sean Kanan) and that Carly was covering for him.

Then on the day of Franco and Carly’s wedding, Franco played a video of them discussing AJ’s murder which shocked Michael Corinthos (then Chad Duell) who was at the wedding. That was Franco’s big payback for Carly’s cheating. So Jack giving Carly this necklace out of the blue just made my wheels turn because of the stunt Franco pulled. And we know GH likes to repeat sites.

And that made me wonder what Jack does when Carly is worried because I don’t think that’s true love. I don’t think you’re chasing happiness. And there are just so many red flags. Jack went from plotting his kidnapping to his sheets, recruiting his daughter Josslyn to the WSB. And Carly always runs into Jack with his secrets and problems. And he’s always happy to solve them and doesn’t ask for anything in return.

I tend to think that maybe he’s building some kind of informational dossier that he can use against Carly in this long con that I suspect he’s running. I feel like Jack is a spider and he’s been spinning this sticky web and Carly doesn’t even realize how well he’s caught her. The good thing is that he finally suspects Jack in general, but I don’t think Carly suspects enough. He is so focused on getting Josslyn out of WSB and the lies he tells that I don’t think he realizes that Jack has a bigger endgame picture. And I don’t think it’s to run away with Carly and, you know, be husband and wife and love each other forever. Jack is basically, I think, working a bee jar scheme on Carly and him as a trap.

General Hospital: Jack Determined to Hire Jason

If you remember, Jack tried to recruit Jason to WSB more than once. He tried to get Anna to help him, I believe. And Jack would love to have an agent with Jason’s skills. In addition, Stone Cold was working as a mercenary for Pikeman while Jack used to back it up while Jason was undercover from the FBI and under Jagger’s thumb. So, Jason was going to be a great agent, but he also rejected Jack every time he approached him about WSB and Jason hates Jack.

So, I wonder if Jagger was Brennan’s instigator in this long scheme of deception. As we know that Jason will not willingly work for Jack, we also know that he may be put in harm’s way if Carly is in danger. Brennan may not have gotten rid of that RICO evidence the FBI had. Jack may have just stolen it to use it as a last resort to get what he wants and he can use it once he finds out Carly conspired with Valentin. Everyone knows that Carly is one of Jason’s few injuries and I don’t think Jack would hesitate to threaten Carly to get what he wants from Jason.

Mission Over Love: Is Carly Just a Pawn in Jack’s WSB Endgame on General Hospital?

Another red flag recently was a conversation Jack had with Josslyn and Jack told Josslyn that he was trying to teach her that nothing is more important than work. So sending Jack WSB would be a reason to fall in love with Carly. Maybe Jack cares about Carly. Maybe he doesn’t. But even if Jack loves Carly, I don’t think he can put her before work. And I think he’s ultimately a pawn in Jack’s game. So we’ll see how it plays out.
