ADQ companies join hands to strengthen Pakistan’s agricultural supply chain

Karachi Gateway terminal limited (KGTML), a division of noatum ports and ADS Ports group (LDC) Pakistan have signed a long-term commercial agreement for the development and operation of agricultural cargo at Karachi Port in Karachi.

Noatum Ports is an international port operating arm of Abu Dhabi’s Ad Ports Group.

The investment is more than US $ 75 million already made by the AD AD PORTS group during the first phase of the KGTML project.

KGTML will invest in the design and construction of a clean food grade facility, including a management system and distribution system and infrastructure related to goods, to support the management and storage of a large number of agricultural agricultural goods.

LDC has committed to providing domestic volume of agricultural commodities and will develop new infrastructure as part of its plans to expand its presence in Pakistan.

Both companies – AD PORTS Group and LDC – are part of ADQ, Abu Dhabi Moderistiver, and the agreement will strengthen Pakistan’s agricultural financing and regional planning by strengthening their global expertise.

The new facility will improve efficiency, reduce administrative times and improve the resilience of Pakistan’s agricultural network. It will follow and implement international food safety and performance standards. By installing improved infrastructure, the project will strengthen regional trade links and contribute to greater access to food.

In addition to KGTML, the AD Ports group is also building, operating and managing Karachi Gateway Terminal Limited (KGTL) Container Handling at Karachi Port.
