Abu Dhabi approves the original grant transfer rules

Abu Dhabi has approved new laws that allow the transfer of living allowances as a gift between Emirati citizens, limited to spouses and first relatives and in line with the approved laws.

The Directive was issued by Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zaysed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, to strengthen family unity and promote long-term social cohesion.

The decisions were announced during a meeting of the Abu Dhabi Exebi Elibikahlekli honored by Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zaysed Al Nahyan, where members also approved two major strategies covering health and water.

During the meeting, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed endorsed Abu Dhabi’s sustainable lifestyle strategy, which is overseen by the Ministry of Health – Abu Dhabi.

The strategy establishes a comprehensive framework that focuses on:

  • Promoting healthy eating habits
  • Supporting physical activity
  • Controlling the environment that supports health
  • Using data and AI to strengthen preventive health policies

The framework aims to empower citizens to make informed, healthy decisions through policies that promote balanced nutrition and regulate food marketing to promote healthy eating.

It also supports ongoing strategies to build an integrated infrastructure for physical activity and deepen collaboration between public and private sectors to increase health awareness and promote a healthy society.

Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed asserted that the adoption of a healthy lifestyle strategy is aligned with the vision of leadership that will build a strong, future – health system that is ready to be marginalized.

A combined strategy of allowed strategies

The Council also approved an integrated water strategy, which will be implemented by the Department of Energy in Abu Dhabi.

The strategic plan focuses on strengthening water preparedness in the water sector, improving security of supply, reducing costs and improving infrastructure through the use of advanced technology and AI systems.

It uses an integrated approach that includes separating water sources, developing robust infrastructure and integrating metering and monitoring systems to support efficient, agricultural, commercial and industrial uses.

The strategic plan aims to protect groundwater reserves, ensure long-term resource sustainability and strengthen Abu Dhabi’s preparedness to deal with climate change and growing water demand.

Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed highlighted that the integrated water strategy will support the emirate’s transformation towards smart, sustainable water solutions in line with the UAE and Abu Dhabi’s climate goals to 2050.

The Council reviews government projects

The Abu Dhabi Executive Committee also reviewed updates on government programs, development programs and ongoing programs in integrating modern technology and AI solutions to improve the quality of life and ensure the highest standards of citizens.
