UAE releases more than 6,530 prisoners before Eid al Etihad 2025

The UAE will release more than 6,530 prisoners from correctional facilities before Eid Al Etihad 2025.
Emirates leaders have pledged to support the prisoners and provide opportunities for rehabilitation.
The release of 6,546 prisoners across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, Ajman and Fujairah is to be announced.
The prisoners were released from Abu Dhabi
President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zaysed Al Nahyan ordered the release of 2,937 prisoners from correctional facilities in the UAE. He also promised to cover financial penalties received by inmates as part of their sentences.
