Dubai Future Forum 2025: Ending illness within 10 years, ocean map and bold visions

The world could be less than ten years away from curing all existing genetic diseases, by attending the Dubai Future Fourme on Monday, as global scientists, technologists, future leaders, future leaders explore the success of the next century.

This event brought some of its best predictions so far – Gene editing, genomics, AI, Global R & D, ocean mapping, and the future of human identity.

In a session called “the future of togetherness: How does art create connections in a changing world?”

In “Genomic Equity: Can genomics work for everyone in the future?” Albarah El-Khani, Senior Price Monitor of Outerations at M42, said Abu Dhabi plans to launch a maritime data sharing initiative in 2026.

“Today we have 120 petabytes of genomic data stored as part of the Emirates genomic research program,” it noted.
