JEDDAH’s $162.9mn Agility Fistics Park Facility is mature

Agility Logistics Park – Jeddah, developed on a 576,7,000 SQM site of built-up area, with an investment of SR611 million

Complex Logistics Grade-Ibanga-warehouses, designed and built to the highest international standards, and purpose-built to serve the needs of sectors such as retail, consumer goods, energy, and e-commerce.

The facility was opened by Saleh Bin Nasser al-Jasser, Minister of Transport and Transportation of Saudi Arabia.

Traditionally located in Al Mahjar, Alp Jeddah Logistics Park is the Jeddah Islamic Port and 15 km from the city and serves the immediate demand on all the kingdom’s western roads.

The project was developed in collaboration with the State Properties General Administration (SPGA), which created the park’s land allocation.

Emphasizing the strategic cooperation with the private sector and the great economic and development opportunities in the Kingdom’s transportation sector, Al-Jasser said: “This investment shows the commitment made by the private sector, supports the centers of data provision, and instills investment wisdom to drive business growth and investment.

“These projects help create direct and indirect job opportunities and promote economic development. These efforts will strengthen the State’s position as a global strategic plan and realize the ambitious goals of the national vision of transportation and implementation under the vision 2030.”

Al-Jasser noted that the Kingdom has seen large and continuous investment by leading international companies, the issuance of major program changes, operational improvements, and unprecedented development of infrastructure projects.

Tarek Sultan, chairman of Agility Global, added: “The confirmation of Agility Logistics Park Jeddah is part of our long-term commitment to invest in Saudi Arabia and in the development of Saudi Arabia’s logistics under vision 2030.

In addition to Jeddah, agility logistics parks operate one of the Logistics Parks in the Middle East in Ridy in Riyadh (871,000 Sqm) and another in Dammam (200,000 Sqm). In Riyadh, the company is currently bringing an expansion of SR250 million (US $ 66.67 million) that will add 100,000 SQM of space – a warehouse, bringing the total area of ​​the area to more than 550,000 Sqm.
