FAA Cuts Flight Reductions from 6% to 3% at 40 US Airports Saturday

FOX Business Host Liz Claman talks about Guy Founder Brian Kelly’s points about FAA delays and how travelers can stay ahead of the ‘Claman Countdown’ run.
US Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy and Federal Aviation Administrator (FAA) Administrator Bryan Bedford announced on Friday the reduction of the required flight from 40 places to 3%, as the government opened following the closure of the record.
The change will take effect Saturday at 6 a.m., following recommendations from the safety team and the FAA.
FAA officials say the decision reflects an improvement in the standards of control of control vehicles and a continued decrease in crew-distance events throughout the National AirSpace System (NAS).
The 3% reduction will remain in place while the FAA monitors program performance throughout the weekend and assesses whether normal operations can continue.
