For more than half a century, the Dia Art Foundation has redefined how art can be supported, displayed and preserved – especially when it comes to large-scale works, long-term, or other commercial exhibitions. On Monday (Nov. 3), its annual night again celebrated those missions with a very high dinner that attracted all the York institutions – to remind everyone that the artists remain firmly at the center of the vision of the dia.

Observer spotted an impressive roster of artists shaping the language of contemporary art today, including a particularly smiling and socially engaged Marina Abramović (currently preparing for a major exhibition at the upcoming Venice Biennale), alongside Doug AItken, Tony Cokes, Mary Corman, Jung Hee Choi, N. Dash, Torkwase Dyson, Miles Greenberg, Rachel Harrison, Tehching Hsieh, ej Hill, Anne Imhof, Suzanne Jackson, vera Lutter, Title Mitchell, Alan Rutchell, Gedi Sitcher, Gedi Siiz, Maim Rosler, Gedi Siiz, Maim Rosler, Gedi Siiz Steinbach, Amy Sillman, Pat Steir, Richard Tuttle, Cheyney Thompson and William T. Williams.

The evening begins with a cocktail reception and show viewing at Dia Chelsea, where guests are welcome 12 + 2GuintLaters first US commission. His Monay Clay Clay Animal forms occupy the space, evoking the primal connection These large creatures appeared from the basic prehistory, before and the constraints created by civilization and logical problems. In one of the rooms, the circular relief of the thick wall is accompanied by the idea of the movement of cosmology – the movement of advanced cosmology, connecting the microcosm of the human being by controlling all the forces between forces and problems.

Guests then moved to 547 West 26th Street, where long, white tables with white belts awaited. The dinner started with welcoming remarks from Nathalie de Gungzburg, in the Doo’s Board hall. Next, the bright jessica morgan, dia director, then took the dais. “Paris was a blast,” he said, beginning his talk with real enthusiasm following his researched week abroad, where he opened “at a young age in Paris. The exhibition, a collaboration between the collection of Pilot and dia, brought part of the holding of dia in Europe for the first time, pairing a refreshing visual selection of the French Magnate’s collection. The exhibition celebrated the aesthetics and philosophy of minimalism while following the evolution of the whole and the lasting influence.

Shame of the night, Melvin Edwards and MEG Webster, both hold the deep significance of dia. Their same sermon went up it seems that each of the pioneering ways of giving anticipated how many of today’s most urgent artistic concerns were anticipated. The Sourt Sanford Biggers bring a heartfelt tribute to the meal, reflecting on their shared Houston roots and the deep emotional and artistic bond between them. His lectures explored the way Edwaly focuses on the strict organization of his steel, chain, machine parts – with a different case of humanity and politics: unlimited forms that conflict with the weight of history and memory, in the middle of oppression.

Next, architect Steven Holl paid tribute to Webster, following how his practice incorporated world art and a process-based approach with an inherent understanding of nature. Combining nature and culture with energy, his works embrace the principle of transcendence and transformation while begging for a reflection of humanity’s sustainability and relationship with the world. Webster’s art lies between the past and the formal, from man and from nature – to feel the time from time today, as he enjoys a long moment in its view, from his Frecon Tortunda right now.

De Gunzburg (and her husband, Charles de Gungzburg) and Morgan were joined by Trustees Sandra J. Brant, J. Patanaz Flee, Dana Su lee, Sara Morishishise and Cordy Ryman. The crowd included collectors, Philanthropists and cultures such as Amy Astley, Hen Rubio, Steve Holl, Steven Holl, Steven Loogratz, Molly Novogratz, Molly Novogratz, Rokey Péan, retired Randolph, Scott Rükhopf, Axel Rüdie, Bernard and Almoni Ruiz-Picasso, Olivier Sarkozy, Alan Schwartzman, Alan Schwartzman, Helen and Peter Warwick and Sara Zawde.

And of course, no dia gathering would be complete without members of the gallery world who have long supported the mission: Alex Greenberg Rohatyn, Jeané Kuri, Siniinique Lomvy, Alex Greenberg Rohatyn, Jeané Kuri, SinTuzar, Sukanya Rajaratnam, Thaddaeus Ropac, Almone Resh-Picasso and Kara Vander Weg are all among the guests of the evening. Below, we offer a glimpse of the night’s most memorable moments.
