– For todayNow you can listen to FOX news headlines!

The sleep chief finally woke up Monday night on the west coast and Tuesday morning on the east coast.

Freddie Freaman came to the plate in the bottom of the 18th inning and hit a solo home run to give the Los Angeles Dodgers a 3-game series lead, 6-5. He became the first player in MLB Postseason history to hit back-to-back walk-off home runs in the national series. He did it in game 1 last year against the New York Yankees.

The Marathon could have ended at any time between the 10th and 18th Innings. The Dodgers had a good chance under 13. Freeman came to bat with the bases loaded and hit the ball knowing he could hit it before he was followed by the Blue Jays outfield.

Toronto made a few risky decisions on the basepaths that led to it. It was necessary at that time to try to end the game, but the defensive performances from Tommy Edman and Teoscar Hernandez were able to close any hopes of victory in blue.

The game might not even go extra innings without a performance from Shohei Ohtani.

Ohtani hit two home runs on a 4-for-4 night for the Dodgers. He reached nine home runs safely, setting a world series mission record. Ohtani is set to pitch in Game 4 on Tuesday night – less than 24 hours after Freeman hit the home run.

“I want to sleep fast so I can be ready,” Ohtani told Ox verducci’s Tom Verducci through a translator.

Dodger reliever Klein also played a big role in Los Angeles’ victory. Klein pitched four innings of no-hit baseball and struck out five. He threw 72 pitches – second the night behind starter Tyler Glasnow.

Hernandez started Los Angeles with a solo home run off Blue Jay starter Max Scherzer in the second inning. Ohtani followed that up with his first home run of the night in the third inning. But those were the only two titles for Scherzer.

The veteran Star Pitcher is locked on the home run record. He allowed three earned runs on five hits in 4.1 innings.

Toronto bounced back in the top of the fourth.

Blue Jays Catcher Alejandro Kirk hit a three-run home run off Tyler Glassow to give Toronto the lead. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette cashed in on the dinger. Later, Andres Gimenez hit Addison Barger on a sacrifice fly.

An OHTANI RBI double and a Freddie Freeman RBI single tied the game in the bottom of the fifth. But bichette lined up a home run for the guerreros to regain the lead.

It’s true, Ohtani had a chance to make a big impact. With the bottom of the seventh down, Ophani hit a monster home run off Anthony Dominguez to tie the game again.
